I have read a different theory, that he didn't marry her to protect her. You all know that the land on which the gallery is present, is very valuable. So the theory is that his family told him to marry her so that their company can take over the land of the gallery. But since he knows how much that gallery means to Dali and her father, he broke off the engagement to protect her. But now 5 years later, he has more power, that's why he wants to win her back.

Well for one thing it's very pleasing to the eyes. So aesthetic😍. I love the chemistry between the two main leads. But the 2 most driving factors for me to watch this show are Kim Min-jae's acting as this loud, money-obsessed soft boy and Dali's character. She has hit rock-bottom and it's going to be so satisfying to watch her develop and reach the top.

I think the watch thing will come back. And the lack of eating habit still persists. The day she had the press conference she didn't eat the whole day. That's why she was starving and ate the whole dish by herself. Also we will have to wait for SML's backstory.

You know this is just my experience, but while I was reading the webtoon, I did slightly ship Yumi and Babi while they were in other relationships. But my shipping feelings became stronger when Yumi and Woong's relationship started to go downhill.

I also thought that she will take some time to forgive him. But I guess when you love someone that much and have waited for that person for so long. You just can' hold yourself back.

And some people would've disliked this drama exactly because of what you suggested. But I completely agree with you. But the writer had to limit himself/herself because of the genre of healing, slice-of-life.

You will find around chapters 175-185 what happens involving Sae-yi. Because of this drama I am re-reading some snippets of the webtoon and all those fuzzy feelings are coming back to me🥰🥰🥰.

Well Sae-yi creates trouble in paradise. But Woong is also at fault here. They don't communicate properly. Woong's company goes under, but he doesn't say anything about it to Yumi until she find him sleeping in his office. Then they start to live together. I think Yumi brought up the topic of marriage. But then he said he didn't want to get married. Because he was unemployed, and he would have to financially rely on Yumi for a while, That did not sit well with him. Keep in mind that this may be slightly inaccurate, cuz I have read these chapters 2 years ago. Though reading some of the comments here definitely brought some of it back.

I really hate to break it to you, but I don't think so. I mean the preview of Ep.9 gives us a lot of what may happen between Yumi and Woong.

There is another slice of life drama which has lengthy episodes. Hospital Playlist 2. Its episode were 90mins+ and the final 1 was of 2 hours. My friend used to jokingly say 'Go watch your weekly movies'.

Honestly I also didn't like how she lied to her ex. But since I know there will be ✨character development✨....I am just waiting for it.
