I have read a different theory, that he didn't marry her to protect her. You all know that the land on which the gallery is present, is very valuable. So the theory is that his family told him to marry her so that their company can take over the land of the gallery. But since he knows how much that gallery means to Dali and her father, he broke off the engagement to protect her. But now 5 years later, he has more power, that's why he wants to win her back.
I don't know how I feel about this show :/ it's different and interesting, but every episode has me questioning…
Well for one thing it's very pleasing to the eyes. So aesthetic😍. I love the chemistry between the two main leads. But the 2 most driving factors for me to watch this show are Kim Min-jae's acting as this loud, money-obsessed soft boy and Dali's character. She has hit rock-bottom and it's going to be so satisfying to watch her develop and reach the top.
I like this drama but the first 2 eps feel like a completely different show compared to the recent eps. There's…
I think the watch thing will come back. And the lack of eating habit still persists. The day she had the press conference she didn't eat the whole day. That's why she was starving and ate the whole dish by herself. Also we will have to wait for SML's backstory.
He doesn't end up with her and you will see why and you may even agree with their breakup when it will come.
You know this is just my experience, but while I was reading the webtoon, I did slightly ship Yumi and Babi while they were in other relationships. But my shipping feelings became stronger when Yumi and Woong's relationship started to go downhill.
I already guessed that there must be some story about her as well and I'm actually not surprised, her actions…
I also thought that she will take some time to forgive him. But I guess when you love someone that much and have waited for that person for so long. You just can' hold yourself back.
I could see du shik was trying to attempt suicide ! If if if the writer had better placement ! We could have seen…
And some people would've disliked this drama exactly because of what you suggested. But I completely agree with you. But the writer had to limit himself/herself because of the genre of healing, slice-of-life.

She does seem annoying in the beginning. But later she gets character development and becomes close to Yumi. And…
You will find around chapters 175-185 what happens involving Sae-yi. Because of this drama I am re-reading some snippets of the webtoon and all those fuzzy feelings are coming back to me🥰🥰🥰.
Well Sae-yi creates trouble in paradise. But Woong is also at fault here. They don't communicate properly. Woong's company goes under, but he doesn't say anything about it to Yumi until she find him sleeping in his office. Then they start to live together. I think Yumi brought up the topic of marriage. But then he said he didn't want to get married. Because he was unemployed, and he would have to financially rely on Yumi for a while, That did not sit well with him. Keep in mind that this may be slightly inaccurate, cuz I have read these chapters 2 years ago. Though reading some of the comments here definitely brought some of it back.

Well you know when these 'Currently Watching' articles come out they always give a spoiler warning up to Ep.2 or 4. That there will be minor spoilers. But you did not give any such thing.

There is another slice of life drama which has lengthy episodes. Hospital Playlist 2. Its episode were 90mins+ and the final 1 was of 2 hours. My friend used to jokingly say 'Go watch your weekly movies'.
BTW fantastic article. You managed to not give any kind of spoilers(big or small) but still made the whole intriguing.
I don't think they will do it. They already confirmed that there will be a 2nd season and the second boyfriend…
Who knows? May be the feelings of Kdrama fans might also change. Jk. But in the webtoon Woong does appear again after the 1st break with Babi. That time he has a big successful company. He tries to win Yumi back.
So you know how the ML ws saying how eeryone just turned against the gallary. I mean I am thinking it cod be the…
I read a theory about why he might have broken up with her. It said that may be his family told him to marry Dali, to take over the gallery and indirectly that land. Since he knows how much it means to her and her father, he refused to marry her. But since now he has power to protect her and her gallery ("I am not the same person I was 5 years ago"), he wants to win her back.

Actually there are many kdramas adapted from webtoons that didn't follow the webtoon ending. To name a few: Nevertheless, Cheese in the Trap, Dr Frost.
