Agreed! It doesn't make sense to me to change it like that. They should've followed the scene in the novel where Sun Xiang was only one left for Excellent Era and he typed 'GG' and EE manager was just losing his sh*t.

I wished they should've stick with the novel. They changed so many things it felt like it not an actual adaptation. The points system at the last episode ugh!
