I knew this guy wasn't just a nerdy little character. ( Also Books acting is no joke, such a good actor. Looking forward to more projects of his.) Apart from that, I am dying to see NICK getting back at TON. In the trailer we see a scene between him and Papang, who I hope plays the character that is going to make NICK dump TON, with latter begging him to stay with him. RAY is a complicated character and I admire Khao for the way of portraying him. I can sympathise with him for his behaviour and I just wish that he eventually get better without hurting SAND anymore. I want to see him happy, sober and with his friends by his side. SAND is too good for all this toxic assholes. I wish his revenge on TOP( in todays ep) is something he don't regret ( based on NICKS reaction) I think this duo won't have a problem but still. TON and TOP I can't really defend you anymore. I wanted at first but unfortunately there's nothing you can do to change the way I view both of you. TOP didn't actually felt bad about the situation but cause he was caught. TON you have ONE person in your life that for whatever reason really likes you. But with that behaviour of yours and the rest we are expecting from the trailer, I really hope that you and TOP just end up with each other, unhappy and miserable. EP 2 and all I have to say is...WTF Like Frank darling I like you but what the hell happened with your acting? Like GMMTV pulled a curse on you or something? We saw no progress in the storyline only dramatic shit like the faint, the bad attitude of day like we the whole amnesia thing he teleported back to his 2 years ago self. The couples have no chemistry( I mean lets wait for their own senses but still) I likes the teaser of ep3 so lets wait until then again
After reading the 1st book, I came to the conclusion that we are talking about 2 bad people. On the other hand what inn did, doesn't excuse what day did to him. Because as we know days brother Night forgave Gear. Still it of course doesn't mean that Day had to, but what he did to Its its so fucked up. R@p3, Beating, Blackmailing etc. As the book goes by, we first see that Its develops feeling for day while day is still treating him like crap. Then Day understands his feelings and yeah happily ever after. NOT This is the classic case of Stockholm syndrome not love syndrome ( the title of the book and series) But let's say that this 2 toxic people found each other, so other normal people be safe. This is a good excuse to find the relationship cute and hot. Also lets be honest is just fiction, some people like seeing that kind of complex couple cause they may be also a victim of the case or help them understand to romanise the fiction but keeping it apart from real life. I kind of like that trope( VegasPete, MangkornYai etc) they have the exact same plot with 2 bad people ending up together ( expect Pete he is an angel be deserves better) Also we see how different the treat the series to the novel For example Vegas Pete story involved r@pe, beating and many other horrible things ( dude almost killed him multiple times) but in the series we see only how he tortures Pete) but in that case again Stockholm Syndrome Alert. Mangkorn Yai (haven't read the novel but I am feeling it was a lot darker that the series) And as you read rn you see how many times I mention the books-novel Its cause in Thailand this novels are pretty big( BIG PROFIT LOT OF MONEY) the have a thing about forceful relationships and r@pe etc So the companies have to choose make a lot of many or keep my dignity Of course money my friends but cause of the big popularity outside Thailand bls series have get the have to keep the story but not the whole of it. And I think that's good cause filming this books must be very traumatic for the actors, even as if it is. So I will continue reading the book, watching the series cause I can understand not only the propose but cause I really enjoy it( I was in many toxic relanshiops seeing representation is nice) But if someone can't handle it for many reasons as I said its perfectly fine Coming here to the comment or throwing shade to the actors its not good Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy As long as its not illegal of course and again if you can't handle it you shouldn't reading the plot or the books or watch the first ep. But I am suspecting that we will all get ours answers to the next episodes with the whole amnesia thing. I started reading the first book after I watched the ep I realised that the curent relationship we are witnessing comes from a very very very very x100 toxic shit. R@p3 and many others things! Itt is a very complex character in the 1st book. We see how he made a bet about days brother night and many other bad things. That make him a bad person that had revenge coming for him. But what day did to him was apart from super bad ILLEGAL to say the least. As the chapters go by we see a its that had me thinking how could him to what he did to night. Now after ep 1 I see a very spoiled and annoying boy in a still after 2yearstoxic relationship I assume from the trailer that after the accident day is going back to his bad self treating its like an object and doing bad things to him and as the eps going by falling again in love with him? idk I am looking forward for the side couples they all seem very intresting but still super toxic
i loved the cinematography, the colors, music everything about it. The ancient chinese empire aesthetic. The first episodes paced ( it was good for my impatient ass) all the actors are so damn attractive( have the biggest crush in the girl) We have to deal with complex characters and many stories behind them( i look forward to that) I love a good toxic story with good taste( not like tharntype, whyru etc) kinnporche guided the way to a good toxic mafia story with complex characters and erotic scenes. But now from all the comments below me i came to wonder how some people give such bad reviews. I am mean i know everyone view things differently, but from the first clip of the trailer we knew what we have to deal with. Not a story full of butterflies and flowers or good guys. Both of the ml are toxic as fuck and i am here for it, to see how their story continue, to see their character growth( or maybe not) and to a enjoy a story not so different from what we seen before, but with way better production and acting skills. Yai is portrayed perfect for the spoiled-i own everything and everyone -brat he is and Mangkorn the good-perfect guy who also have a dark side in him. The comedy is top tier( for my taste of humour ) and he side characters looks promising. I get that it can trigger many people but if you say all that negative comments i think its best to dropped it if it triggers you so much. It portrays thing that are not so out of our world and i dont really thing that the acting is exaggerated. We have 7 more episodes to see its too soon to no( maybe ep2 be a disaster maybe not) i will wait to see the whole series and then come back to comment if my pov change or not. As part of the lgbtq community its nice to see such a good taste series with serious subjects to disgustion.
i just finished the movie and i can stand by the fact that "most books to film adaptations are shit" It was a good movie dont get me wrong, but a true tragedy for the book that murakami wrote. This movie was focused on 1/5 of the whole book. Like i missed so many important scenes.
