This is similar to @BenedictTan with the total view count of each ep. I calculated the total run time of each ep (might be a little off because adding minutes is kinda weird) 1. 51:31 2. 47:38 3. 55:55 4. 57:14 5. 56:05 6. 53:03 7. 58: 34 8. 59:11 9. 1:00:43 10. 1:11:42 In conclusion... Shortest ep: ep 2 Longest ep: ep 10 Total run time: 9:30: 16 (give or take) In 2nd conclusion... Each episode run time is over the supposed 45 minutes which is very nice. I'm going to try to rewatch ep 1-10 today so I'll see if I can actually do it.
Can't go to school today because my parents might have covid (love the US cuz people don't get vaccinated) so might rewatch ep 10 again. Something's telling me I should. I feel like I enjoy the rooftop scene more then the average person does.
Everyone being salty in the comments meanwhile i sit here and sob bc i literally donβt want this one to end…
I don't even want to think about. I can't imagine my life without Bad Buddy tbh. Hopefully we can get a well put together season 2 in the future or a different series with them as the main roles in it. π
It has taken me a while to formulate what I'm going to say about episode 10 but here we go. Episode 10 is probably my favorite episode so far (even tho I really loved 5, 6, and 7). It has so many great elements all in one episode and everything was done with every little detail taken into consideration. I mean we even got WaiKorn crumbs. Them sitting by each other and not feeling the need to decimate each other is definitely a step in the right direction. I loved the confession scene and how it differed from other GMMTV shows or BL's in general. There aren't any side characters stalking PatPran or out to get them. That's something that really annoys me and I'm glad they decided to not drag that into this series. This episode really made everything better when officiating PaInk. The minute I saw Ink in episode 4... maybe (I can't remember) I was like "she's not straight" and I mean bad to assume but we did get some GL representation FINALLY. I've been waiting for this. (Wow I'm rambling but I still have a lot more to say). As much as the feud scene really hurt me what hurt me more was Pat's dad literally SHOVING PRAN. I'M SORRY BUT YOU ARE A GROWNASS ADULT. YOU DO NOT LAY YOUR HANDS ON ANOTHER PERSON'S CHILD WHEN DID THEY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WRONG YOU IN ANY WAY AT ALL. Nah cuz Pat's dad actually needs to go to anger management or something. Anyway, Pran just picking up the fruit all alone and leaving made me just want to give him a big hug and tell him that Pat's dad is a fucking jerk and everything will be okay. I loved that Pat really wanted to stay by his side that moment even though Pran had to push him away so he could deal with everything his dad did. I do empathize with Pran's mom even though I've been calling her a witch for the entire series. She has every right to hold her grudge for as long as she wants because getting a scholarship opportunity like that is a big deal and being a woman and getting a scholarship like that is even bigger. I don't commend how she acted towards Pran either. Her making Pran hate Pat just because he happened to be the son of the person she hated most doesnβt mean she has to force it on to the next generation. Vice versa with Pat's dad. Pat and Pran were emotionally abused by their parents and gaslighted by them to constantly think the other person is in the wrong, therefore hating them. Don't even get me started on the slap. I know Pran's mom immediately regretted it and almost regretted it before she even did it. The slap wasn't as slaplike as I was expecting. It was kind of a wimpy slap to be honest. It was filled with sadness instead of anger I feel. Of course it is never okay to purposely try to hurt your child. I think all of them just need a lot of personal and group counseling to be able to not want to kill each other 24/7 but yeah that's my take. Well those were my thoughts for ep 10 and I'm very excited for episode 11. Episode 11 does look like it we be kind of melancholic but we'll see. If you actually read the entire post thanks! I'll put a spoiler tag just in case people who comment on here haven't seen the ep yet. Have a great day/night!
Ur right, i just try , its slight different between engsub and indonesian, i prefer to watch with engsub, but…
Me: has been learning Spanish very slowly over 12 years from teachers who don't actually speak it that well. Needless to say, I'm okay at reading Spanish I guess but speaking it is a nightmare. *cries in only knows how to speak English*
I'm having a seriously hard time waiting rn. I have rewatched ep 5 and 9 a few times which is honestly a lot for me because I'm not one to typically rewatch shows (at least while it's still airing). Probably going to rewatch more eps today because I have two more days to waste time before I have to go back to school π₯². Probably gonna rewatch ep 6 or 7 tbh.
I know many other people have already commented this but I have really enjoyed being a part of this comment section (despite only commenting twice). I look forward to waking up every day and seeing what new picture, edit, theory, or judt general comment people have to make about Bad Buddy. This is probably an exaggeration but I feel like I'm going to be really depressed when Bad Buddy is over, like I'm losing something that's very important to me. All of you and the show make me truly happy. This is by far the most active and least toxic comment section I've seen and I'm glad to be here. I hope all of you are having a great day/night and I'm planning on commenting more often now. Love all of you π
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think either have made specific public remarks regarding their sexuality. Both could be straight or not (honestly hoping at least one is not for representation but that's probably not the case). I do agree with you that LGBTQ+ people should be the one getting LGBTQ+ roles and not straight people. As characters Pat and Pran have done a great job destroying tropes in BL and showing that people can love who they love regardless of gender and that gender preference can always change. Honestly hoping they're at least strong allies to the community if not actually part of it though.
Over the past few years I've been into BL I have watched hundreds. Most were mediocre, some were good, few were great, and some were plain bad but that's whats expected in an industry of thousands of series. To say this show has continued exceeding my ecpections is an understatement. It goes far beyond what I could have ever expected of this show. Yes I am Ohm biased like most but it's because of his incredibe talent. I never watched The Gifted so this is the first series I've seen Nanon in but his facial expressions give me life. The end of my semester is nearing so it's been pretty tough for me but this show is the reason why Friday will always be my favorite day of the week. I'm not even mad about what happened at the end of ep 8. It leaves me more hopeful and excited about how it will play out in the next ep. I may have to score this show 10 stars (I've never done that so we'll see) and I can say confidently that this is the best BL I've watched. The tropes and setting is there but Ohm and Nanon make all of that more than bearable, quite enjoyable actually. I know my comment is pretty long so if you actually took the time to read it thank you! To anyone who is reading this, I hope you are having a great day!
