On Absolute Value of Romance 1 day ago
He revealing they had met 10 years ago reminded me of "Falling High School Girl and Irresponsible Teacher". Of course that drama crossed the line into romance way before it was appropriate 😅 I do think the fact that the drama is highlighting these two met at a point in time when they were both children means their age difference is not so big that a romance is out of the question IN THE FUTURE, and from the comments of the actors I really can't tell if they'll leave it open ended or not. I do hope if they go the time jump route they leave at least a few years from graduation to them reuniting again, otherwise it'll feel a lot like he was just "waiting on her" and given the current responses to dramas in Korea I don't think they wanna deal with that backlash 😅

Some dramas hit you at the right time. This was We Are All Trying Here for me. I think Park Hae Young may have catapulted herself to the top of my favorite drama writers of all time.

Hey, can someone drop in the comments if there are any specific trigger warnings for this show? I'm not in the mood to be devastated. Feel free to spoiler-tag.

agree on all of above. I was waiting for this kind of drama for a long time. Clearly most people rate drama on…
And the thing is I am enjoying Perfect Crown too... within the genre of drama it is. There is a time for everything, but it really does show that writing quality is for sure not the first thing in people's minds when rating here.

As expected, if the ratings are low and it airs on JTBC, chances are the drama is great and people have bad taste. Will this be like Be Melodramatic? Will people find it in a few years and call it "the drama of their lives"? People cannot handle rawness or depth or complex characters beyond traumatized CEOs or Princes. They expect k-dramas to deal with everything but raw and real emotions, for characters to be cookie cutter and for everyone to be either extremely perfect or a perfect villain. This drama isn't it for them and that's fine. I expect this to be a gift to those who want more.

Title In Your Radiant Season Spoiler
We really could have spared the 10 minutes of the Ai-generated (like every illustration in this drama) comic being narrated. I skipped through it. Haram was who had to learn about everything, not the audience. We literally watched it. Jeeeez!!

I haven't watched this drama yet but from the reviews here it seems like a must-watch good drama as mostly ppl…
It had really good ratings on tvn, it had no low views in Korea at all.

I like that they kept the door open for a season two!! I actually genuinely hope that there is one, it had very good ratings and I think it did well on Netflix too. That being said only if they can keep this level of mystery / writing for s2. What a great little show.

I feel that they sold us on the wrong premise honestly. This isn't a show about "omg her ex! and omg a young hottie!", it's a show about female friendship most of all and I'd love if the rest of the episodes remained the same.

My only issue with this season were the stories that expanded over 4 episodes, I feel the show benefits from having one case a week, it also feels like I need a catch up whenever a story gets broken up between one week and the other. Other than that I hope it's not the end for the Rainbow family!

Title Love Me Spoiler
I'm not sure why people say this drama is gloomy or sad, yes the premise is gloomy, but I've had quite a few laughs in the last episodes, specially with the dad's conversation with the priest and the scene of all of them trying her curry. The humor is not in your face funny about it but more "day in the life" funny. The only thkng that really DOES make me sad about the drama is that it really does feel that it proves the mom right that if she had died earlier they would have moved on... It's a bit mean 😅 but as someone who lives with someone who's sick, I genuinely relate to their guilt and their exhaustion

I need an investigation into whether ChatGPT was involved in the writing of this drama, specially the last two episodes. I've read Wattpad fics with more consistency than this drama 😭

I love the diversity of ages in the drawing club, I think we need dramas that show that people can make friends of different ages based on common interests and become good supports for each other, the older characters are such good mentors in life for the younger kids, and the younger kids remind the older members to still find joy in silly things. I like how the characters that question the group are presented as the questionable ones instead of the other way around!

On Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born Oct 25, 2025
I am kind of over main characters who screw others over because they believe themselves to be right or morally upright. While the show acknowledged Jeongnyeon had a problem with wanting to show off, I think they were too forgiving many times and gave her plenty of opportunities to fix herself and she didn't listen. When she fell for the ploy to ruin her voice she also seemed less than smart for a character who'd been so far ahead of others sabotaging her. As for the queerbaiting, I'm a straight woman but for me it was very obvious that several relationships in the drama were romantic and assume they were limited by broadcasting regulations and did their best with the material they had. But then again I cannot speak for wlw so I can understand how that may be frustrating.

Sure, even then, the comment to cover herself was way out of place. My opinion of that won't change. i rewatched the scene again and it seems like he's berating her for not being covered in the first place, when she was in completely appropriate attire for the activity they were doing 🤷🏻‍♀️

the woman who was dying was being handled by the actual doctor... there was no reason to interrupt her

yeah but he took care of the boys later after the ambulance came, he also has priorities i think
I wrote it as soon as it happened but imo it still doesn't make it better that he made her feel like she was in the wrong

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
I like the second couple but I hated him when he told her to cover up when she was DOING SPORTS before that woman collapsed instead of berating the men recording her, wtf sorry someone isn't thinking to put on a jacket when someone is dying

Everything about this drama is incredibly predictable but the leads have such a great chemistry it's kind of hard not to be charmed by them
