Omg the trailer is absolutely sweet and I'm very excited to see how everything turns out. I will say I wish we got 12 episodes instead of 10 (what can I say I want more PerthSanta). I glad they gave this the Saturday slot because everyone who is watching OF:DO will need a palette cleanser.
Sorry, but everyone in that friend group should have died. They were all horrible people, especially Jay. He knew almost everything, but still chose to stay silent, wtf. I wish this series got 2 additional episodes. The romance was rushed way too much and sadly the police investigation on the murders and drug deals were lacking in every way. I love JD and their chemistry, but every one of their series in lacking in some way. I know GMMTV has a hard time with serious and heavy toned shows, but if you keep giving us trailers with heavier tones you gotta deliver on them.
I don't think hate is the word just maybe strongly worded opinion from people who wanted the show to be really…
I think what would have made the series worked a little better would be showing how the couple would work on mending the relationship AFTER knowing the misunderstanding. We had to watch 7 or 8 episodes of Than simping over Akin and Akin not explaining why they broke up and when he finally did explain Than wasn't even upset. It should have been by episode 5 we got Akin tell Than what happened as well as the moments in college where Akin felt he couldn't trust Than. Than being upset and asking for space because the trust in the relationship was one sided and the remaining episodes could show them building back the trust and faith in one another. Also killing the second CP came out of nowhere. While it was a darning thing to do, I don't think it helped with the series overall. Since the main CP were frustrating to watch a lot of viewers (like myself) attached ourselves to the second CP in hopes we could see something other than miscommunication. So when their death happened it was so heart breaking and I loved the scene where the friends write down the feelings and what they would want to say to someone they love, but afterwards we get massive whiplash of emotions when we have to save the gym. I came for the over story because it was different from our usual BL romance, but I cannot in good faith watch a series where the main plot is miscommunication it's infuriating.
Would you recommend We Are to someone who likes AouBoom but generally dislikes shows by P'New Siwaj?
Hmm, maybe watch their scenes from Perfect 10 Liners. Even though it's by the same director they're acting is good. Or maybe just find complications of just their scenes in both series.
Three things: 1) I knew exactly who was behind the murder by around ep 5 or 6. 2) They showed too much of what will happen in the next episode, making the stakes of last episode feel anti-climatic. 3) Don't date multiple people, it never ends well.
They made me care at the last 3 episodes and then had to go and break the 4th wall? I cannot take this show seriously. Idk why I could follow 4Minutes and Goddess Bless You From Death with had mysteries left right and center, that had me going back to rewatch the series multiple times, but MoR was a chore to get through.
I think I'm so used to police tv shows that when I watch this show I want more solving the case and less flirting. I'm not here to hate on the JoongDunk because I love them so much but I really want them to put a little more effort into the case.
