I dropped this after episode 4. The child actors were wonderful. But out of the adult cast, only Kim Soo Hyun…
This is my first time watching a historical drama so I really don't know how to judge one, but I think it is a drama worth waching until the end. Well,I guess people just have different tastes.

I think the queen had a really tragic life. I expected her to be like vicious and everything yet she ended up being too pitiful.

It definitely ended up overly dramatic. Definitely different from the Japanese version. Who'd have thought Yi Seul will die and Baek Ho will actually go back in time to save her and take her place in dying? Well, of course, he didn't die and made it miraculously but ended up having selective amnesia and forgot all about Yi Seul. I actually thought it was HYD2 for a moment.

I think there is, but it is too subtle. Japanese dramas are usually like that. They don't focus on romance if that isn't main genre of the drama.
