Here is the thing when you watch too much of a troupe don't you get too saturated of it? I am not saying I will never watch any drama with an old guy ever but 1- I had enough i need a long break 2- hope they stop casting young girls with old men all the time, no matter how good a drama is, I just can't stomach it anymore 3- just like noona romance they are very occasional and few that's why I still get excited about them, wish these dramas would also be occasional and not a majority like what happened in 2020. Excatly exception , that's the word if it happens occasionally or rarely it's enjoyable and exciting. If it happens too often like what happened last year it just becomes too much. Tho I never liked any romance that involved an old man with a young girl as these stuff irl are common and mostly predatory, will never think of it as something romantic or desirable. Also most noona romance don't have huge age gaps like this and don't exceed 10 yrs at max. mostly the actress is in her early 30's , also it doesn't really happen often in reality so I just take it as a cute exception on the other hand how many young girls have been preyed on by old men i would say most women have experienced that. So yes I don't mind noona romance every now and then. 2020 has really few of them too like compare the numbers not even close

She should really be casted with people close to her age. A big majority of last year male leads were mid to late 30's but not for the women . So of course this is not what I mean but I ain't gonna sit here after the vomit that was 2020 and watch old guy and young girl troupe and pass it as normal as it happened way too much.
