This leaves a truckload of emotions each time I rewatch. Beautiful timeless gem.The ending scene is ethereal but…
I should have read your comment before I started. I'm still relatively early into it so it's not too late to stop but I wouldn't have started if I knew someone described the ending as "painful".

42:23 This is boring. Dropped.

I find myself skipping ahead a lot. I may end up dropping this.

Title My Rainy Days Spoiler
Also, if I'm understanding this correctly so far, did her mother take her to get an abortion at 14? Is that right?…
She's a minor living in an apartment bought by a sugar daddy. Where's her mother now? I seriously feel like a background story where this FL was sexually abused and her mother knew about it is where we're headed. Especially with the way the FL is completely demoralized and with her willingness to sell her body at such a young age. Sex for her is nothing but a tool. Age and gender don't matter because there's no feeling behind it whatsoever. That's completely different from being slutty because of a high sex drive.

No young child would naturally think of selling their body as a means to make money. It wouldn't even cross their minds unless someone didn't lead them to it and/or if they hadn't already been inappropriately exposed to sex already and had already become desensitized to it.

The way this girl treats people and genuinely just doesn't care is a whole new level of broken that I haven't seen. Her humanity is completely gone. Wow.

Also, if I'm understanding this correctly so far, did her mother take her to get an abortion at 14? Is that right? People like to call girls who get pregnant young sluts but getting pregnant at 14 in most cases (unless they were with a kid their own age) means the girl was targeted. Most girls aren't naturally promiscuous at such a young age. There's usually a lot more to it, although people like to pretend otherwise. Either they're being exposed to certain things to young or these someone influencing and/or messing with them.

Title My Rainy Days Spoiler
I just started watching this and I'm watching the severe bullying happening with people right there acting like nothing at all is happening right next to them. There's a reason someone like me cannot be bullied. I'd fight to the death if I have to. I also would lose my shit on anyone I saw bullying someone else. I would have lost my shit on that entire classroom of losers who stood there and did nothing while someone was being humiliated and tortured by others right in front of them for no reason other than them being weaker. I wish something like this would happen around me. I have a lot of anger I could stand to work off.

That's not even to mention the fact that their actions were going way beyond bullying to actual serious criminal offenses. 1) Forcefully sexually abusing the girl (by stripping her naked), 2) taking nude photos without consent, 3) taking nude photos of a minor, 4) illegally distributing said photo (by uploading it on a porn site), 5) child pornography (she's a minor and it's being posted on a sex site). All of those girls could do some serious time in prison.

I literally do not understand a single thing I just watched. I don’t understand the “romance” people are…
EXACTLY!!! Comparing it to 50 Shades and 365 Days. It is so NOT either of those. Honestly, the people comparing those two movies also clearly don't understand how different THEY are either so maybe I shouldn't be surprised that they consider this similar too. It just shows that completely lack any basic understanding of what was romantic about those movies.

The milk thing is their safe word. And yeah… stay on for the ride! I expected something more vanilla myself😅
Exactly! A safe word NOT for sexual interactions. It makes no damn sense whatsoever! There's no understanding of BDSM culture but they're here trying to apply it left and right and doing it so wrong!!! I'm not at all an expert but basic understanding isn't hard to find so the fact that people are thinking this is it and that this is good writing is so frustrating to me. This is toxicity not romance!

But I've only watched an hour of the compiled movie version on YouTube so maybe I just haven't gotten to whatever it is everyone is here gushing about. What I've seen so far though is very wrong and twisted and NOT at all like 50 Shades. There's no romance in this. Not so far.

It’s her safe word with him. In bondage, the couple always have safe words that mean stop. They keep going until…
It's so stupid how they're applying the safe word to the entire relationship when in BDSM the safe words are used strictly for sexual interactions. You leave that behind when you aren't playing.

I thought I was watching 365days (chinese version) 🤣🤣lol and how can I forgot the safe word that concept…
365 Days and 50 Shades were based on sensuality, lust, desire and romance. 50 Shades had BDSM built in which, again, is based on sensuality and lust and desire and TRUST, and of course, pain. I started watching a condensed version of this on YouTube and for the entire first hour I saw nothing but abuse. There was literally no lust or actual desire from the ML. There was only pure disgust towards the FL. He literally wanted her to be someone else and hated that she was not.

I don't understand how so many people do not understand the underlying dynamic in 50 Shades and 365 Days to the point that you can compare this abusive crap to those movies. They are not at all the same.

Safe words aren't rare. It's literally BDSM 101. If this drama was trying to portray a BDSM relationship though it failed completely because disgust towards the partner is NOT a part of it.

I only watched the first hour of this though so maybe it gets more sensual later on and I just didn't see it. I stopped right at 1:01:00 on the YouTube movie version and its full length is 4:17:29 so, understandably, there's a lot more to the story that I have not seen.

Not sure if I'll go back and finish it to find out. Maybe...

This drama doesn't make sense. Even though the FL is really good the ML doesn't seem to fit for me, he looks like…
I'm watching it as a condensed video on YouTube but ending up stopping after just over an hour. Nothing about this seems romantic. I agree with you, it's very dark. Unnecessarily so. I don't understand what people find romantic about any of the behavior I've seen thus far.

Maybe I just haven't watched enough yet though. I wasn't feeling it so I stopped but I may go back to see if it gets any better. Haven't decided yet.

LOL! How funny you are. You completely assumed you knew why I asked the question then proceeded to make a very judgemental comment. Where exactly did I say that Chinese romcoms were not what I enjoyed?

I asked because I became aware of the fact that it is, in fact, a thing for script submissions to be turned in by regular people and even learn that some entertainment companies hold competitions for script submissions. I had heard that some colleges in China hold similar competitions, that are sponsored by different entertainment companies. I just wasn't sure how common or widespread of a practice that was and/or if they did it for high schoolers too. I was curious to know if this actually was more widespread that I had previously thought. I wanted to see if it was sort of like the anime culture in Japan in some ways.

I specifically stated that, "I'm not looking for random guesses or opinions. I'm trying to gain real understanding from people who have actual insight into the Chinese entertainment industry." Your comment is exactly what I was NOT looking for.
