This series is not bad, i like it so far. It’s entertaining and the cast all great.
however, i think this series isn’t really portrayed hanayori dango.
the love between gorya and thyme look so flat, it’s like puppy love story, yet their challenge is so big, it doesn’t really make sense.
I don’t really feel gorya’s fight either, because thyme and f4 always help her. In hanayori dango, i could feel how deep makino and domyouji’s relationship and how struggle makino is to fight domyouji’s mother. same with meteor garden, shanchai is really on another level.
honestly, thai public channel drama like CH3 might be able to portray this better than this.

wow and here i am, thought that ren is really similar to rui in manga. he's doing such a good job potraying hanazawa rui character.

ikr that's my faults. :( it's because the story really similar to japanese version in every aspect that i can't stop thinking about the japanese version.
i wish they could atleast change the story a little bit so it's not like a copy cat version of 2005's version. like how meteor garden (2018) did such a good job of it.

Bright acting is just so bad. I can’t help but compare it to Matsumoto Jun who did really great as Tsukasa Domyouji. the editing also so bad, it felt really rushed.
At first i have high hopes for this drama, but while watching it, all i could think is just the 2005 version with makino and tsukasa.
but, i’m still looking forward for kaning and kavin story. I think win acting is just right as kavin !

ps : sorry guys I don't hate bright at all. and sorry if my opinion hurt you all. i just really love hana yori dango and watch all the series and read the manga, and i really excited about the thai version. i just quite disappointed with bright facial expression. like, the way he looklike he's smile while he supposed to be mad, it's just ruined the scene to me. and i know the director want to make this a short series (16 eps) but too bad i can't really absorb the feeling of it because the scenes all just happened so fast T__T it's quite disappointing, esp when this series could be waaaay better if only they don't rush it.

So far l really like this series, but yeah i do think this one have some holes :
1. i think the way F4 bullied gorya is not too much, idk it’s just not evil enough in my eyes. so the hatred gorya have towards thyme is not really believable.
2. Gorya supposed to only have a crush with ren but in here it feels like she loves him
3. Gorya already close to f4 is kinda unbelievable. i think her power not shown enough, so i still not think she’s like the big heroine.

overall, the show is feel so rushed .
