Yes, FL lead is childish in the beginning but he still was her best friend and he didn't mind it, he liked it. I think her behavior becomes more understandable when you see how her own parents treat her. They love her but think she can't accomplish anything an have no faith in her. They even compare her to her cousin.

ML is often too much driven by anger and not seeing the bigger picture when it comes to Elise. I want to tell him right at his face to open his eyes.
