I've read some of the parallel and symbolism theories on reddit, and it made me realize something.
The characters attach a lot of significance on material objects. And almost every single major character in the show gives something to the person they like/love, except for one person, that's right, in all 14 episodes, NDS never gives any material object to anybody, which includes SDM.
Let me run down the list on the items, all of them symbolize love, support, and care for the person you give the item to.
1. Halmoni leaves corndogs for young HJP to eat 2. SDM father gives WIJ a music box 3. Letters between HJP and SDM 4. SDM's dad buys Fried Chicken 5. Grandma gives her son money 6. Grandma gives HJP new shoes 7. Grandma gives SDM a new suit and shoes 8. SDM gives NDS fortune plant, which ends up with HJP. 9. Grandma gives food for go-stop party as thank you to HJP 10. WIJ mom gives her daughter coffee 11. Grandma gives SDM mom food meant for SDM. 12. SDM gives tile fish to both NDS and HJP. 13. SDM gives Pine nut soup to HJP. 14. SDM gives non combustible bag to HJP. 15. HJP gives SDM shoes 16. SDM gives NDS and HJP both t-shirts, only HJP returns it. 17. Grandma gives HJP umbrella. 18. Honestly, for someone like HJP who has had a hard and lonely life, I don't know why he keeps pining for someone flaky, irresponsible, and mentally weak as SDM.
He has achieved so much on his own, and now he is blocking his own happiness by pining over a weak FL like SDM. Plus, why does he still keep helping SDM? she never appreciates it, and she keeps leading him on, quite toxic from SDM. 3 years, you let a man think he has a shot, that's just cruel.
Ok, this is getting crazy. According to this information, for the month of November, the height of KSH popularity, the search for dimples has been steadily climbing, peaking on November 21, 2020.
The number of youtubers posting videos on how to get Dimples naturally has also spiked.
I've never tried any of these techniques, but i'm pretty sure you can't force dimples, you either have them or don't. So guys, don't rush out and buy all these dimple maker machines, not all guys are meant to have dimples.
In other news, after NDS tear heavy scene, "Fake Tears" has also been trending. Once again fellas, I feel I need to make this clear. Not everyone can cry as naturally as NJH, and I know you think fake tears is the best way to show emotion, and i'm telling you it's not.
