good they didn't ruin him... sorry but he deserves someone who cares for him the way he cares for her. I'm glad he did that instead of forcing himself to be stuck in a relationship that he's obviously not fulfilled in and no I'm not saying she is a horrible gf cause she wasn't from her point of view he supports her and he is fine also that they I guess communicate well which I will fault him on, the lack of actually talking to her about how he is feeling when she just leaves or prioritize work over him. In her head they are fine I mean he even proposed so that break up can feel so random, I feel like he thought his proposing equals their problems(her focusing more on working) disappearing but then she did what she did which I guess confirmed to him. Anywho I'm just glad he didn't cheat or become a horrible person cause I'm tired of that trope when the boyfriend is nice in every way but he is not the ML so they ruin him out of nowhere they love to do this, especially in cases where the FL is neglectful or not the best person in the relationship(they tend to always be self-centered in a way). Anyway it was like he's in a relationship by himself and most of the time she was there it was when/if she needed comfort/him and if she was spending time with him it was because he asked or initiated.
