ep1: I'm thinking she was never evil and he was her disciple cause he wanted to but something happened and he now believes what he does. I just got why it's called love of the divine tree(I'm 12 minutes in)
my other theory is they were in love but couldn't be together because she "bad" and he good so they made that whole thing up so she could be reincarnated and be made good and they can be together(yeah this is a dumb theory)
edit: I just read the description... I never do... anyways it's what I said and I was half right with my other theory. It would be interesting if they had the FL actually evil... every time a female lead is "evil" they are never really evil... I want a truly devious female lead in an historical cdrama or any. waittt My theory being basically spot on after watching for 12 minutes is crazyy and says something

the actress died in the last drama I saw her in so, which was not necessary in my opinion
