I don't like this 'Republic era' period too. Because from what i've seen before in this era drama, almost no happy ending drama. Have you seen battle in Changsha? Thats the best this kind of 'Era' i've seen so far in term of story. I especially love the brother in law acting. He acted so well as a guy in 'grey' position. Not a good person, but not a bad person either.

So the CEO publisher guy is the same doctor in Romantic Doctor 2?? No wonder, i have a feeling have seen him somewhere in the dramaland. LOL.

Thats what i always said to myself, when i found interesting drama aired. But, don't worry you're not alone, LOL.

Watched 2 episodes, and i'm loving it. My first in a while Kdrama that i don't need ff button to press. The FL is so stunning to watch. Her make up and deep sexy voice, fit her character. Can't wait for next episodes.

Yes, that true. It just a common story plot for all romance genre drama either its mainland, korean, japanese, and western. Even though some of them, may find happiness with others woman. But i think, the story with suffering unrequited love 2nd lead are more memorable. Like in AOL drama version. Because if the drama follow closely to the book version, Runyu have more darker image than drama, And MY in the book also turn into dark. which i actually anticipating him to be a bad guy, LOL.

Is it Happy ending?? I watched too till mid episodes then i stopped. This drama to dark for my taste.

This is first drama that i rooting for both FL. I love XS, she cheerful and cute. But i also love ZY, she is really kind, mature and strong as a woman.

Agree on dubbing part. I especially not to fond CXZ dubbing and SGT too.

As quote of Chen Qianqian in the Romance of Tiger and Rose. ML are made for FL, and 2nd lead are made for everyone who watched. Thats why many 2nd lead are good, kind and makes us pitty for their characters and story. And Yes, MY have entire 10 years to pursue CXZ, but he choose to love her in secret, while SGT need only 2 meetings to fall for her and make her fall in her, reject her and pursue her again. The one who take action, get the girl. Thats the rule, LOL.

LOL i have same thinking too. My 'minmin' meet Emei, LOL. For me yukee best character are Zhoumin so far. Even though her chemistry as CXZ with SGT is pretty good, but i like her better as Zhoumin. Fierce - cruel - not shy to pursue his man, LOL. CXZ, should learn from her.

IMO, if you look back at female lead background it really make sense. First, she was a daughter of a biggest martial art master, which has 2 father and both are very protected to her. And her 2nd father is spoiled her since her childhood. Even after her dad passed away, she have 4 guardian, who always look after her. Her 18 years are spend in very save and protected environment. 2nd. I think, she doesn't like martial art, she was force to learn martial art by his father. 3rd. She is a kind girl, she doesn't like conflicts and revenge and don't have ambitions , she become leader because she is the daughter and why she learn lotus move at the end, because it was his father legacy and thats what his father want. Eventhough she was unwilling at first, but by nature she is a responsible and mature, but still naive like a little girl ( ans thats not her mistake, it just she grow in environment like that). She is pure, naive and innocent, thats why those 2 men, protect her willingly, not because she is weak but those 2 men can not stand her to suffer ( they fall for her too). LOL. It just my opinion of course. And many of wuxia kind drama, have same kind of this plot, every FL will always protected by ML or 2nd ML. Thats a formula of any this kind of Love drama. LOL

I found some pic of deleted scenes pictures. I wonder why they don't insert them. It really good. They deleted many important scene, like when SGT cry in her sister tomb and when he cut his hair when he's young ( i really want to see this scene) . After seen this now i wonder, is this drama lack in writing ? Or because bad editing? I wish i can see all those 53 episodes.

The second male lead is the guy with white rob, right. why so many white rob guy in 'jianghu' worlds ?? I think i've seen at least 1 person in every wuxia drama i watched so far. LOL

The story is soo good. Full of emotion and unpredictable plot. Only sometimes i just little annoying with the voices changes. Is there any problems with the dubbing?

Actually i like his hairstyle and character in this drama, he seem more friendly and happy. It help me to move on from his character in under the power and that sweet couple. LOL.

I checked the ending credits because of curiosity, LOL. I don't think it the same scene, because in that credits scene ML still awake but in the actual episode, he unconscious. But maybe i'm wrong. LOL

My guess is maybe he know that attacked him is Poison tribe member and since XS is their leader, so he don't need to worry about her. Beside the poison tribe are not 'welcoming' him. So its better that he go away for now.

Agree with you. The fighting scenes are executed beautiful and convincing.
