Just wanted to say something since it had been a long.....
Before watching Cql love was just a word...forever was just a hallucination...they both make u realize that love is real...it's not just a word........waiting for someone can be painfull but hopefull at the same time....
Lan Zhan who waited for his lover to return without spoiling and wasting his own life....in those 16 years he became a person with hos own morals rather than just following some(actually many) rules....his character development is something that can't be expressed in words.....
Wei Wuxian who doesn’t lets the world effect his true self.....he is someone who is ready to do anything and everything for helping someone.....
When it comes to Cql i am always at loss of word to express how to feel no matter how many words i write....maybe i can end up writing a complete novel on how i feel for a single episode....but i would just like to say....

THANKQ XIAO ZHAN AND WANG YIBO FOR GIVING US WEI WUXIAN AND LAN WANGJI WHO CAME STRAIGHT OUT OF THE NOVEL

I don't know what this drama has done to me....it's just so silly...i was searching fir a drama to watch and suddenly clicked on the first epiosde of a drama and there was a comment how there was a video of CQL when the actor opened his phone and i just decided to watch that drama........sometimes I myself wonder what this drama has done to me......SAVE ME

I still remember that i rarely used to drop dramas before CQL specially the romantic dramas but now I rarely finish dramas because if feels like there is no fun in those dramas and no drama can bind me like CQL did.......

This is just so true...i remember when i was watching love and redemption and the lead actor played some music on the leaf and i was like down the memory lane forgetting that i was watching some drama.....the swords fight..and specially the wine bottles.....it fells like at the end everything stars with CQL and ends with CQL

Not many people can understand why cql turned out to be like this....but for sure being a bl can be a very small reason....the main reason was everyone related to ah ling loved it and made it so much of love.....the way u can feel and live the characters...the way u can feel the love between them without even few words....can be romantic love between lan Zhan and WWX or brotherly love between jc and wwx not to mention our jade twins.......CQL is different nof just in one manner but in many many many different manners which not everyone can understand

The way C Ent suddenly produce/plan to produce so many BL / GL drama, it is more than reasonable to believe it is bcs of cql (considering the amt of copying in different ways ?)

Do they know, we love cql not bcs it is BL, but bcs of the two main leads and the story itself?........
When we say CQL paved the way then it really did

Just a line that maybe we might have started or watched few epiosdes because of the beauty of thr leads but if even after so many months and years if we are still here then it is definately not because of just a face or even for just a single character

Well i noticed something while my nth rewatch that when WuJi was played for 3rd time in drama(for Wen Ning)......we hear it being played shrilly on a makeshift flute. He plays the first soothing song that comes to his mind......LWJ IS NOT HERE SO IT IS A LONE FLUTE.....with no background music.......
The second LWJ arrives, the song goes over to full accompaniment.....LIKE EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE......
The music keeps playing for them but stops for the whole world(u can see by wen ning's reaction).....
The flute resumes when WWX plays it(awesome detail).......BUT NOW IT'S NO LONGER SHRILL.........commence intense hand holding sesh......
