I just finished episode 7 and I'm so surprised by this series... basically everything I believe when an episode ends gets turned around at the next one... so many surprises and so many hidden agendas! I'm loving the "second part" (the flashback part on their story) much more than the "scary" beginning, and all the actors are really great...!

Uhm... I was expecting the finale, but executed in a totally different way. Billy slayed this last episode, his pain and longing were so real!

Probably almost everything has been said, but let me say this: I need a spinoff for captain Akk! (...and possibly with Chalothorn in it too)

on this i agree: I tend to love Japanese slowpaced style and interaction, I’m mostly not a “relationship person” so I don’t really mind if their steps are slow and little… but yes, they could have condensed some scenes and given Kai a bit more space because he definitely deserves it (and not only due to his good looks 😂)

Many are saying this episode wasted too much screentime over the office part, but to me it felt perfect to emphasize step by step Hirokuni's "living the workplace" as a team-leader and not just as an employee... he finally realized, by watching his colleagues struggle in his exact same way, what's really important in his life.
I also loved how Kai tried to support him even through the distance - these two are so heartwarming.

In nowadays society we have messy and unhealthy situations (be it work, finance, family, love...)... we all deserve someone, or something, to be a safe haven in which to recharge, feel at ease and accepted and, most of all, loved. Maybe sometimes we don't even know we need that haven, until we find it... I'm happy that Hirokuni found his, and I hope all of us can find ours.

Ep2 was way better than the first, nice comedy and nice acting, plus the dialogues are smooth and fun. I love the energetic and "cartoonish" vibe given by the slightly saturated colors!

Pun is such a cute and lovely character, he's like a puppy - good to the core. <3
I don't know why, but the actor playing Pun keeps reminding me of a young Vic Zhou.

Just started and I must say: all these boys are acting pretty well, few of them are really rocking but in general is a great team!

Is this a "very-horror kind of horror", or is it more dark/suspence like Shadow? I'm very intrigued from the plot and the comments about the characters, but I'm absolutely NOT into horror or scary movies in general. ^^'

The restaurant's wall at the end is lovely, all the pictures of their most iconic moments... and the rings and the marriage, yay!! Ten/Prem looked so perfect with those blue suits!!

All in all, I'm sad it's over - both Ten/Prem and Fy/Dy were so cute and heartwarming.
I agree that the pace could have been better and the plot would have benefitted much from it (I liked how it started easy and fun and it slowly went to more complex themes and situations), but still for me it was a nice series to end the week with smiles and fluff.

Tay/Karan was SO beautiful throughout all this episode, he's mesmerizing. I could watch him for hours and not get bored.

Set aside this fact... I love this drama. It makes my heart brightly smile.

I don't think it's a mistake - to me it felt like it was symbolic of the fact that they are starting to be so understanding of each other, that they feel each other's thoughts.

I understand what you mean - Yiping's never been in any "emotional situation" aside from loving his dog, so receiving the unconditionate care and attention from Ever9 might easily win him over.

Still, hopefully we can get more of the AI/robotic/scifi sub-theme since we have quite a few episodes in front of us.

Despite being a beautiful confession, I really hope Kiku can move on from Izumi.... his whole life he's been supporting others, I hope he can value himself and start anew instead of being someone's "convenience choice" - somehow I think it would be more fitting to the mature mood of this series: not every unrequited love in series must have a happy ending.

This couple is so cute, but neither of them seems to fit the image we're given at the beginning... the human is supposed to be coldhearted and asocial, yet he's kind and lovely and fell in love in the blink of an eye; the robot... should be a robot, yet he's like a normal teen during his first love and the "robotic moments" are so weird and nonsensical----- I mean, I'm loving this but I feel they either needed to spend more time on the transition between "robot turning into almost human", or just cancel this part and make Ever 9 a caregiver and that would have been enough.

Mizuki did wrong to Sakae in the past and we know Sakae was deeply hurt from his toxic behaviours... but people can change and this might be the case (Mizuki already demonstrated to care for Sakae and for the shop in the last episodes). I like Soga too, but honestly I find Sakae and Mizuki to be more fit for a pair... maybe in the past it wasn't the right moment, but it feels it is now.

The poster is cute and got me interested in the first episode. It's pretty cringe but still enjoyable, I'll watch the next few episodes to see how it develops.
