To LSS, completing her mission was most important, however she did love him, she unexpectedly fell in love with him. You can see it in a lot of scenes after they exited Bo'Re life.

Honestly, i cried buckets for Ashes of Love, Goodbye My Princess and Pillow Book - but only during their endings.

Yeah that was so heartbreaking and poor TTJ can't believe it. She didn't even sugar coat anything, just bulldozed through then died. Can't blame TTJ for becoming mad.

The ending after MY didn't turn into a demon. I think it was already YXW/LSS. Cos after SJ died she turned back into YXW/LSS, so did TTJ.

Lol but we'll get some sweet scenes in the immortal arc so it's not that bad

I wished she would have at least touched his face lovingly and said I forgive you, like that time she did at the end of Bo're Life.

Love this perspective. TTJ finally understood why MY did it, and he did the same. Besides, what's the point of being king when your soul mate is gone.

Watching Ye Ze Yu follow his dad to protect the citizens already got me bawling. Then the tower scene and TTJ's spiral into madness. My heart is aching 💔

Xianxia has never been logical, and mostly contains angst and misunderstandings. This one is by far among the best I've seen in the past 30 years even though i rarely watch one (like 1-2 dramas a year because I'm picky).
