I'm certainly not a big fan of dubbing, but I could tolerate it if it wasn't so awfully bad in so many C-Dramas.…
I 100% agree with you with regards to a lot of dubbing being poor quality. I personally don't enjoy a lot of dubbing that I've seen because it either doesn't match the character, or the syncing/audio quality is bad. But comparing Chinese dialects to English dialects/accents isn't really fair, and it's actually the reason for using dubbing that makes the most sense to me out of all I've seen. Chinese dialects can be extremely diverse, using their own grammar and syntax to the point that someone who was born in Eastern China might not even understand what someone who is from Western China is saying. It's almost like they have different languages rather than dialects (i.e. Cantonese vs. Mandarin). So having everyone speak in a dialect that the entirety of the country can theoretically understand makes the drama more accessible to its audience.

I wish atleast kao and up will be spared from toxic fandom. Otherwise it would be too ironic. They seem like really…
I continue to be amazed every time I see a video of an interview of the two of them where they are asked legitimate serious questions and there's no queerbaiting or forced shipping, just two good friends who happen to play love interests in a tv series. That's what every series should do moving forward - use Kao and Up as the standard for how your actors interact offscreen. This show has been a breath of fresh air to watch, and hopefully an awakening to many about the dark and shady shit that goes on behind the scenes of these BL productions. I can't wait until we can classify series as LGBT stories, not BL, because BL to me means the forced shipping, the toxic fandoms, and the shady companies that have plagued the industry so far. ITSAY and TOATS would fall into that category for me. No engineers or high school uniforms, just love stories between two people.

Title Navillera Spoiler
Ho Beom is moving forward i'm so happy! I've been rooting for him.
Right? As soon as he showed up I started rooting for a redemption arc for him. Like Deok Chul says, Ho Beom can soar too and I can't wait to see it happen.

Blame Netflix influence. They are ruining everything.
It's not because of Netflix. The director and producers went into this whole process knowing they wanted to do several seasons, and the cast all liked the idea. The ending of Season 1 wasn't a rushed decision, they already have the road plan for the series for several seasons mapped out.

The reasons I like this BL sooooo much are these:First, we're getting a "story" here and not just some contrived…
Couldn't have said it better myself. There's just something magical about this series - if it keeps going the way it has been, it'll cement itself as one of the best series of all time, in my opinion.
