There's a part where they mentioned that they're 6 mos. married you can notice that yan mo is can't sleep without lights that's why qiaoyi is suing sleeping mask but the the end scene you can see that yan mo can now sleep with total darkness. Qiaoyi changed a lot of his habits throughout their relationship. You can read the novel. It's great!
