Very happy with the recent episodes: Solyi's growth, Heon's feelings, Daesung's personality. I didn't expect to be so attached to these characters, and now it's near ending I realize how much I'll miss this squad. I didn't quite like them this much at the start when did this happen lol also Dr. Seo has very great presence! I like her a lot too I wish to see more of her if it's still possible
we didn't get school 2019 and seeing how they keep issues and making changes as to who to cast, i feel like we're…
At the beginning of the year, production company, director and screenwriters were all changed. And today we just got casting news of Kim Youngdae. Seems like KBS hasn't given up on this and hopefully this time everything turns out fine

It's been a while since I watched the cdrama but for the 2 main leads, I thought the love story between them was simple, cliche, and didn't need to be extended for sooo long so I like the condensed Kr version better. It's the type of drama couple which is very fun to watch because of their chemistry but then you also feel somehow guilty because it's obvious they were borderline toxic (ML in cdrama is wayyy more mean than kr ver).
But for the other characters, cdrama portrayed them more in a way that viewers know what they're dealing with and so it's easy to sympathize. In Kr ver their stories are simply touched lightly or talked about. Jinhwan's cdrama ver was very cute it's hard to hate him. Hayoung liking Jinhwan back also seemed more natural in the original
I don't watch C-dramas so obviously I have not checked out the original, but I keep seeing comments saying that…
Plot-wise no, both versions are practically the same. But character-wise, cdrama had more chance to show their personalities and chemistry together so more people got attached to them. Kdrama ver is very straightforward in its storytelling, meanwhile Cdrama had way too many fillers. Kr version's shorter episodes really gave it a huge disadvantage
I see some people don't like Yo Han's acting in this series but if I have to compare the acting of the actors…
imo HYT's only advantage is that his looks suit the cold character a lot, that's why people easily forgot how stiff his acting was (because he barely did any acting in alsb). It shows in emotional scenes of JC vs Heon
I have no idea about Korea's real King Cheoljong nor the original Chinese novel/drama, but this drama on its own really seems to be pointing at the direction of a royal baby coming. Looks like Kim Clan is set out to dethrone the Queen now, and the only strong way Sobong can keep her title is if she gets pregnant with a prince
We're 12 episodes in I don't understand why people are still being highly critical just because they've seen the Cdrama. If you had high expectations that's on you. I think they're doing a pretty good job considering it's a short-form simple/cliché high school drama. It reminds me of old-school Kdramas you watch for fun and take nothing about it seriously
While I do enjoy Heon's occasional smiles and glares I'm still waiting for him to become more protective of Sol-i especially in that group discussion scene. Right now I just feel like he lets Sol-i get sad/bullied so he can console her later when it's just the 2 of them... Just protect her in the first place bro like what Daesung does
I loved her in Stranger, imagine my surprise with how different her Mr. Queen role is! I'm a fan now. I'll definitely check her other works after Mr. Queen
How has this drama been so far? I'm waiting to binge-watch it once it's finished. I loooooved the C-drama version.Has…
So far the major plot points from the Cdrama are still being followed closely by this version but with slight changes with the details (due to shorter runtime, some details are either changed or completely removed) and characters (mainly the ML, he's cold but they also show some cute sides).
It's a really cute short drama though, perfect for a light bingewatch
This was fun when i watched it but ML was a total jerk in like the first half, the friendship parts carried most of the show tbh. I like it but probably not the romance plot, I'm liking the other version's take on that part
Heon clearly likes Sol-i back, he probably just doesn't want to acknowledge it in front of her yet lol makes me wonder if they'll start dating in HS, there's still quite a huge gap between 2006 and present time
