Everyone dies but no one ever really dies, everyone plays more than 1 character. This show is a whole mess and a comedic one indeed. While watching I was taking mental notes of all the inconsistencies and ridiculousness but they happen so often I lost count. These characters are extremely unrealistic and dumb. Every other second they change their morals.
I couldnt stand the ‘Alex-the gangster brother’ shit. It was THE most stupid thing I’ve ever saw on a series
There was a lot I wanted to write as a summary of the show but it kept getting more and more repetitive, extremely annoying, out of this world evilness and ridiculousness I literally cannot.
If you dont watch these you’ll have lots of time you can use to yourself.
I saw some Sky Castle comparisons but I will stop you right there. Sky Castle was THE best of its kind and Penthouse couldn’t even dare to compete with the queen herself. Please. Dont wanna see these get compared.

Jang DaA’s acting made me think it’s nepotism but by her sister? I hope this awful acting was a result of the way Baek Harin was and not her full potential

I hate Jinseok but the scene where him learning Chanyoung’s cancer was top notch the realest crying I’ve ever seen. Like I was already crying for the whole 2 episodes you didnt have to cry like that bro

The best thing, probably the only thing, was the acting. Especially towards the end when Hyunwoo was eating in Eunja’s restaurant… His appreciation for Eunja for not asking questions and for her warmth and holding himself together, trying not to cry, gosh it was so emotional
but other than that this cast went to waste i think. their chemistry was out of this world but the plot? it could and should’ve been better

agreed. and I think I showed my perspective enough. but if they push her down our throats all the time to be the ‘best’ dancer, she has to be. my argument was for the votes already. Wonhee debuted by the votes too and even ranked first but we all know how much she deserved.
I dont have anything against Koko, i dont mind her debut but I didnt agree with the way mnet and the producers blew her talents out of proportion to make her debut.

just like you said, Niki dances WAY better than the others, Jiyoon sings WAY better than the others, Jeemin and Saebi performs WAY better than the others. but Koko dances well. I don’t see her as the best dancer of the group and i’ve never been since the start of the show. In Baggy Jeans Yui was much better, in My Bag+EPBW Juwon was much better. There’s always someone better than her imo. Dont even get me started on her stage presence and facial expressions lmao. Koko had mnet’s support behind her, she got the screentime and debuted. That’s all

You can like Sarang all you want but girl, dont even compare her to Jeemin lmao. Jeemin got her votes cause she IS the performer and they rigged her in RUNext. Sarang’s %50 performances were her being the worst out of her team. She is good but they were obvious better ones than her. I guess her consistent mistakes were nothing to you when there was Fuko all alongside her…

Mai and Sarang debuted but Fuko didnt… I love all the girls at the final but it was obvious who deserved it more. Taeyang told the reason they choose Mai was her off-stage personality and her character but Fuko was the same even better. Fuko was a great leader and unnie. Mai did it once. Dont get me wrong I LOVE Mai’s character she has such an amazing heart and even greater mind, the way she treated the trainees was perfect but when you have Fuko in the competition… I dont know man. They were really similar in most ways but Fuko is way more idol material.
And Sarang? like who even thought she deserved to debut but not Fuko not Yuju? Her portfolio has a LOT of mediocre performances. Even Gyuri ,whom finished last, is more stable than her. Sarang was better in Mic Drop/Sugarcoat and Unforgiven(cause other ones were bad she stood out) She ALWAYS makes the same impression on every performance I dont get her fans. She literally pulled a Wonhee on us??
Last but not least Koko.. I really dont get the hype about her. She just dances? and has a great physique? She doesnt even rap well. They edited her too much to make her cute and relatable, always good editing. And she got the Japanese audience so she debuted. I’m not mad mad she debuted but Fuko and maybe Yuju would be much better imo.

Kim Jaewon’s acting cringed the f out of me I couldn’t bear it.

It did get better like 5 minutes total. Ultimate disappointment

Gave this one a 9 just because Son Sukku, man….. He’s literally the definition of captivating. He locked me in good.
Mijeong, Mijeong.. why were you so sad and hopeless girl? Some people are like that I guess but she’s the most relatable sibling end of the day and her thing with Gu was super cute but I wanted more of them felt a little bit unfinished?
I hated Gijeong she was unbearably irrelevant to me, her emotions I couldn’t felt. Her and Taehoon had NO chemistry omg
Changhee was fine I guess unless its his whining scenes, he was funny. I didnt get his relationship with Hyuna at all. Did they love each other? Did they date? Why did they break up? Whats up with that bf of her having cancer and Changhee taking care of him? And what debt he paid? What was the shop he owned after he resigned? The sweet potato ovens?
And finally, their mothers passing killed me… I cried like 3 episodes straight and the way they revealed that omg I wasn’t prepared

everyone rates content based on their own preferances you cant tell them how to rate its literally none of your business.
fast-forwarding doesnt mean skipping, its an easy concept I dont get why you insist on not grasping it.
you still didnt answer my questions about the plotholes soooo stop commenting your irrelevant opinions on how people should watch, complete and rate shows.

Since you became so curious about my watching habits let me entertain you.
I watch everything on speed, sometimes even 1.75x or 2x. And I enjoy a lot of dramas. If you cant keep up with that speed dont assume other people cant either.
About the rating, I gave 7 out of 10 on the lowest. Even if it's a shitshow like this I dont rate it below that out of respect, it's my preference. I rate because when I look back I wanna remember what I liked or not. I dont care about others rating system neither should you.
I finish every little thing I started so dont 'worry' about me wasting my time, I watched it on 1.5x. If I want to criticize the show I have to watch it all the way and maybe it gets better but this one absolutely didn't.
Oh btw if you understood the storyline so well because you watched it on 1x pls explain my questions for the plot holes above :)

Except for Min Jinwoong's wonderful acting, this show was terrible. TERRIBLE. The timeline was confusing, acting was awful I couldn't believe it. I loved Jeon Yeobeen's acting in Be Melodramatic and Vincenzo but in this one everytime she cried I was like giirll stop you're not making me feel anything. She's an amazing actress I blame the director for this. I already didnt like Ahn Hyoseop's acting before (this one's the 5th drama of him I watched) he's a mediocre actor imo but he's much tolerable than Yeobeen here.
The story made 0 sense. What was Minju's uncle trying to accomplish? They had a plan with Sihyeon but as soon as Junhee walked in crying he showed himself. What was their plan?? They were acting so important like they're gonna save everyone by themselves (why does it have to be that he hides himself from Junhee).
The fcking Ingyu WHY did you own up to the suicide I cant believe this characters
Why did Koo Yeonjun knowingly got on that plane brooo YOU ARE STUPID pls stop with this "I love her so much I will die than she can find me, I'll always find her" bullshit. I hate these stupid ass unreasonable over the top love stories. Sihyeon gave you a ticket for the next plane AAAHHH
I hated this. Waste of time even though I was watching 1.5x speed. Don't watch it you won't miss A thing.

girl you really need your ears and eyes thoroughly checked. this is not subjective. wonhee can't sing even with lipsyncing, can't dance, doesn't have a stage presence and finally sucks at facial expressions. this matter isn't up for 'opinions'. It's a fact.
