Ive never seen chaewoon act with ANY emotion so im really scared about him playing as the priest, especially since…
I think you mean Cha Eunwoo lol. I'll admit I haven't seen him playing bubbly characters before, but we have to take into consideration most of his roles weren't bubbly characters at all. There were a few scenes in True Beauty, but other than that, Eunwoo stuck to his given character in his previous dramas. If you've seen Eunwoo on like variety shows or with his idol groupmates, Astro, you can see he has a natural bubbly personality, and he has shown very consistant improvement with his acting, so I think he'll be able to pull the character off, but that's just my opinion. Let's wait and see! :)
Actually Cha EunWoo's acting is improving a lot, so please give him a chance. People don't just like him for his…
The first time he acted was actually a support role, not a main role, and he is part of an acting agency, Fantagio. They created a web drama specifically for ASTRO's debut, so basically all the members were lead roles. His first role was a support role that got about 30 seconds of air time and if you exclude that, he has been acting from 2015-2019 since his last drama aired in 2019 . That makes 4 years of acting. Now it's 2020, but he hasn't gotten any roles in 2020 until True Beauty, so we can't just immediately say he has been stuck for 5 years. And remember he has more to focus on than just acting. Like you mentioned, he is an idol. He actually wasn't going to be an idol, he had even gotten a scholarship for Seoul University to be a judge. But then he got the offer and his life kinda flipped and he suddenly had to learn everything from singing to dancing to acting and so much more. He's still working on improving himself not just as an actor but as an idol as well. I don't want to be rude, but I don't think we have the right to criticize him when we're not even close to where he's gotten, and how much he has struggled. If you've seen his other dramas, you would be able to tell his acting improved a lot over time. And it's been a year since his last drama. I think he would have improved a lot since then, but that's just my opinion. Like you said, let's see how it goes.
I think I've read the manga in the past, but it was so cheesy and cliche that I just can't imagine it in a drama…
Actually Cha EunWoo's acting is improving a lot, so please give him a chance. People don't just like him for his looks. He is an idol in a famous kpop group, ASTRO. His vocals dancing and passion is amazing, and the fact that he perseveres and keeps going despite the many hate comments he gets saying he's talentless proves how passionate he is for what he does.
I’m just curious how many people are here for Astro. If you are an Aroha reply with your fav Astro song or your bias. My favorite song is Always You and my bias is Rocky.
Jugyeong’s highschool teacher is casted! You have to go to the characters page to see him. (Well, I do, I don’t know about anyone else) and he acted in some of my favorite dramas!
