MDL doesn't put Chinese dramas on a pedestal. It's a thing. I mean only a few C dramas are rated >9.0 . There are more kdrama fans here than Cdrama fans This drama is absolutely a solid 10. the 8.1 is very unsatisfying but well MDL Maybe it'll change after it's done airing.
