I really loved this drama too! Even tho SE is not my types I ended up watching till last episodes for their chemistry.
Yes some the parts of drama were draggy but once get to end it's worth giving your time. I also liked how everyone from the evil gang wanted one thing at the end even tho everyone has their stories, karmas and own way to executing things.
One thing I wish were different is their ending! Imo FL dying is one thing but atleast MCs should have met and she should have died in his hand! That part felt so unfair and PAINFUL!!
But just to get over this drama(trauma) I have given MCs GE in my head as I felt their chemistry and story deserved one!!

I'm confused about FL character! Is she pretending to lost her memories or she really did lost her memories? Was she the( bandit) or the one who shot that arrow towards ML at the first episode of drama ? they ever become enemies after her getting memory back ?

1st season was best or felt best that's because it was something new to watch and also the cast had actors and actress which were very famous and emotionally very attached to audience in their times.
So in general that was very new and refreshing to watch for the first time with good people, and now it already has 4 season we're kindof used to it. Also, it's not easy to make this type of shows with so many actors having changed and getting new themes, stories, ideas, sets- costumes accordingly and all.
I also felt at one point that I'm getting so used to this show now that it's not so much fun anymore, but yeahh that's what happens with these types of show usually. I keep watching this show bcuz now im emotionally into it and everything related to the show and I still feel refreshed after watching every episode.

Nan yan's dad was evli and had demon inside him throughout his life(as shown in the drama), so for the power and to become one and only God and to rule the world he needed to be immortal or undying which was only possible after having different types of hearts those helps you live forever or those hearts could help one overcome their death.
Nan yan's mom was able to cultivate one of those hearts which was one of the strongest hearts, Shao cang also cultivates one. So to get those hearts he kills Nan Yan's mom and plots against shoa cang( his own student, he always had ill intentions towards Shao cang and always wanted to use him so that he can cultivate heart and Nan yan's father will steal it).
Shao cang had no idea about everything so he didn't knew it was all planned by his master and that's y he takes all blames.
Everybody gets to know the truth but dragon lord and sword master dies before truth comes out.
Side couple? you mean young dragon lord and his fiance? there's nothing much in side couple's love story. Their friendship is main focus throughout the drama

Actors and acting is only good thing in the drama. Bad editing, bad direction, no budget, bad screenwriting, scriptwriting(story was draggy when not needed and was rushed when it was supposed to be draggy/detailed), no promotion and everything was mess but not actors, their acting and their chemistry.
I cannot even say how good they portrayed their character, each and every actor-character did their best, The Squad- bestest thing in the drama and probably the only reason to watch drama until the end.
This drama perfectly justifies the phrase 'Friendship is inevitable and Friends are destinated to be'. In the group of four each character had their own bond, story, chemistry equally love, hate, care, responsibility with every other character. There's no grouping or partiality in their squad, all four love all four equally! For someone like me who really cares about Friendship, This drama will not disappoint in terms of Friendship.
There are many mistakes from other teams of drama-makers (like editing team, direction, screenwriting) but not from actor's end and that's what makes this drama deserving!
okayy, so the one who dies in the battle is Shao cang and not ji yang??? bcuz if he dies in the battle then what's with the last umbrella scene? how come he recognizes her? Is that his next life or reincarnation or he just survives the battle ? and if he survives that battle why would he not come back for three years ?

I didn't even realize how FL became soul of the drama when everything started with ML. Im still courious about his past life or his secrets when he was monarch & for that I'll watch remaining episodes I hope it'll clear out things and drama won't end up with so many questions!
I'm on episode 28 and still don't understand the character of ML! I mean what was his reason for going to valley and why he accepted that he did wrong when he did nothing and just few episodes left when they are gonna focus on Shao can rather than ji yang?? Do we even get clear idea and sence about ML character in upcoming episodes? I'm still not able to adapt his character change after his death in valley, so confused!!! I hope story will be cleaner in next episodes!

I would suggest you to read ABAY novel, trust me you'll come back and thank me, you wouldn't hate fl at all infact you might start liking her and will think ML is somehow portrayed little extra good in the drama compared to FL

That breakup scene would make alot more sense if they would've showed HTs character as it is in the novel(even if it's soo good in the drama)!.
Those who know this story from novel they'll know how important that breakup was for both main lead's character development in terms of both emotional and personal growth.
Novel story justifies everything ... breakup scene from bothe Main leads pov, why there was conflict between maim leads because of third person, from where FL's insecurities comes, what gave Zeng Di confidence or mayb hopes that she could win over HT everything in detail is there in the novel so those who will try to think with all perspectives will know the importance of breakup n everything
