My honest thought: People should keep some things in mind. Zombie/Apocalypse genre is already has been in hella lots of stories, films, dramas, video games, cartoons and anime. So it's really hard to come up with something new and exciting in this genre. It's hard to stand out. And also remember the setting is at school and its about students, we have full of young actors and actresses on the lead. So set your expectation. But still it was fun ride. I see people saying its better than "Happiness". Actually I prefer this one to Happiness. Though Happiness has more chemistry and more proficient acting I found it so uneventful. I felt it more like drama than zombie/apocalypse and action. "All of us are dead" were intense, suspenseful and gory af so i think it was good embodiment of its genre but all of this came with the expense of poor character writing especially the female characters. Also If they only had tackled the social issues such as bullying, teen pregnancy and discrimination etc more wisely. But I understand it is hard to balance out in this drama, and they seem to go more in the action direction with the expense of it. I see this drama tried to tackle so much things but in the end because of that it seems to has became hot mess. There are also so much flaws but it is already mentioned below so. But I have said still it was fun ride and u will definitely have some characters to root for. And some side notes: Park Solomon's stunts were great and his acting was okay for me. My man can become future action drama star. For Chan Young I have known him as child actor since I was little, he is one year older than me. He has really grown up and has bright future ahead.
The whole point of the drama is the journey of the growth and maturity of the male lead. yes, he was an asshole (cause he was getting everything he want since he was child but not love). But he fell in love with an ordinary girl, he felt love so he has started to change. I usually focus on his character development. And its fiction, it has no value in reality, i have like watched BOF when I was like 9, but like forgot almost everything.
sitcoms are always like this, weird characters, dumb plots, trying really hard to be funny, cringefest that's why i dont watch sitcoms, but i have watched it somehow
I hope these toxic bright win fans dont cause any trouble when the drama airs. I am brightwin fan myself. What I really hope is both of them to get more recognition worldwide. This show is good opportunity for both of them since its very well known franchise in Asia. I love all the casts and trailers, sneak peeks so far, i am very excited for the show and waiting it for a long time. Now I am worried cus it still looks like not gonna air soon and also I am afraid cus the lead actress also receiving so much hate from toxic fans, I feel bad for her she doesn't deserve all this in her first role.
I am waiting for this drama so eagerly. Because Darren Wang and Xiao Zhan are my favourite chinese and taiwanese actors. I have seen Li Qin and Xin Zhi Lei in several chinese dramas. I really love the cast. I loved the ost too. But only thing I dont like about chinese dramas is poor CGI effects. So I barely watch Chinese fantasy dramas. So far the only one I have watched was The Untamed. Even though the CGI effects were bad The Untamed will always be in my heart. I think we international fans should send formal request to air this drama or announce the air date. I cant wait anymore.
Have you ever seen him on Youth 2018 drama. I have actually crushed him when watching that show. Alson on The Untamed he was so handsome. I havent watched other shows but calling him ugly and telling that should stop acting is rude. Because not everyone sees like you. For some people like me he still looks handsome and his manners are well behaved. You just saying that ugly people shouldn't be in big dramas. Also the actor you are referring Qin Jun Jie is not that handsome though. But it is just my perspective.
