I was not really satisfied with how they "developed feelings" with each other. It seemed rather vague so i somehow cannot tell at what point did they really like each other? When they are asked, they would avoid the question so i am left confused! I think I might've missed something? IDK. I like their interactions but i just feel like some things are rather sudden. Still, I really enjoyed ep 33 & 34, thank u xuanqing for adding up to the drama and making me feel more excited for the leads lol

edit: Thank u for the people who shared their insights! It actually made me feel confused to why i was even confused at the first place cuz i usually enjoy these things lol. after some thinking, i guess i just wasn't that immersed with the romance in the earlier episodes and when i was finally liking it, i was left confused and unsatisfied. i get it now fr 😔🤚

i would love to but i am also on my finals week! I am really getting jealous of u all cuz i also want to join the fun as early as possible. Though another worry i have is that if i start it now, i might lose my interest as i wait for the last few eps (i almost always get bored towards the last eps of cdramas when i don't watch the eps continuously). I am asking cuz i want to be able to watch the end as the same time as those on-going viewers and watch it without having to wait for the next ep!!

I rewatched this again, and I like it now! I dozed off when i first watched this so i rated it low lol. I guess I just needed the right feels when watching movies like this.

no way i am giggling over a villain. sui yuanqing is such a cutie. His scenes are supposed to make me feel annoyed but his little dimple makes me feel otherwise lol

However, there are just things that confused me. Idk if it was because of the bad subtitles or is it really just from the flow of the story. I also didn't like how they didn't do anything to the grandma when she feels like the biggest villain of this story.

I pushed this one off for some time because of people saying that there was no chemistry and how the fl didn't deserve the ml. I'm glad that I finally gave it a go cause this was such a good watch! Shangbao is one of the best female leads out there that doesn't let love lead her. She's very rationale and doesn't need any man to save her. Still, it was obvious that she loved the ml. There are lots of plot twist which made it very entertaining, plus minghao's boba eyes that will really melt you ~

I've been skipping quite a lot here cuz for some reason, i just can't drop it? The cliffhangers are just somehow so intriguing and i love the second couple too. However, I am getting a bit tired with the main couple cuz i feel like the lie is getting dragged. I hope it will be over by the next ep.

LOL with your evidence, others might think you're actually a fan of zhao qing. There is no actual and objective evidence that she's copying her. If you have so much time, just focus on your idol, rather than dragging others into your nonsense.

It would've been nice if this was a little bit longer so the romance would actually develop slower but better! that way, i probably would've gotten more attached with them. Still, i quite liked the story and the acting was great. Hope to see more of zhang yecheng and zhao qing <3
