I understand what you are trying to say, but you are missing some key points. 1) WYF always (even now slightly) felt that SY deserved a better person who can love him passionately (she says this to ZSQ) 2) It is mere coincidence/fate they met again. There were supposed to have no links attached, so WYF staying in Yihe until her harassment happens also makes sense 3) For SY everything in his life is going well except his love, while WYF has nothing going her way(She just can't think about SY all the time)
I see this drama as a man trying continuously to get his love. And I see myself doing the same, if I fall for a woman that deeply.
WYF will and should put more effort once they get together. (I am generally a sucker for FL jealousy scenes, but here I am completely OK even if we don't get many. I fear her leaving as she may think the 3rd party is better for SY). They need to work on this part of the relationship after getting together.
