I admit I didn’t like Hyunjin through episodes 7-8. Was it because of the online hate or my genuine dislike?…
The drama was supposed to be about 2 people caught in a new and totally unfamiliar environment where they get stuck with a kid that neither was ready for and how they grow and learn to deal with the situation. The SML COMPLETLY ruined that dynamic and yes, he DOES have too much screen time, especially compared to the ML.
Once again, a forcefully inserted SML ruins what could otherwise be a pretty great and refreshing drama. Why do writers keep doing this? Do they have biases towards certain actors that get cast in those roles? Why not just make them MLs then and not ruin the entire story? Some scenes with the SML got so tiring and overplayed that I honestly stopped watching entirely. So disappointing..
At this point, I'm honestly only interested in Gang Su's story line and to a lesser extend Go Eun's (they're dragging her pinning over the ML to much for my taste). Oh Jung Se is such a great actor. Every time he comes on the screen, his presence is so commanding and refreshing, while for the the rest (especially the leads), I just can't get into it. I liked the actors in other drama's, I just don't feel any chemistry between them here..
It took me an entire day to accept the ending and see it for what it was, a truly beautiful happy ending. For…
I felt exactly like you about Hyun Woo being alone, but they I saw how long she lived and that she waited for him when his time came and I felt much better about it.. 😊
