"They just wanted to make a romance movie without any special plot twist."??????????????""I thought this would…
If you think KT was mentally healthier than MY, then i don't know what do say. He was as broken if not more than MY. He's helping her in the only way he knows how to, by being there for her when she needs it and by not allowing her to close off and do something rash (like hit that abuser who slapped MY with a rock, stab the pacient that came to the castle and cut her with the pen, etc). He's not helping her with "love", though that helps in some way also. If you don't understand their relationship by now, then i don't think you will at all, so i'll leave it at that..
You really haven't watched it throughout. You won't see a shift in personality with someone who has a personality…
So you didn't like that the show turned more serious and started to deal with their traumas which in turn made the show not that... lighthearted? You wanted MY to remain that bad ass, no care in the world, one dimensional character?
What do you mean there was no healing in the last 3 episodes? Have we watched the same drama? In this last 3 episodes…
Well, today KT got a session, maybe in the last ep it will be MY's turn, but just because she didn't get professional help doesn't mean she didn't get to heal. I feel like the brothers and the bond they all created between each other is what helped them overcome most of their problems in the end. In the 2 brothers she found the family and the normalcy that she always craved for and didn't get from her real one in the past.
I mean, i also loved those, it was something new and unique, but is that really something that matters in a drama…
Yeah, they could have maybe sprinkled a few more in between the middle portion of the drama, but if it would come at the cost of the plot or the character development, then i prefer it this way to be honest.
This drama was so promising in the beginning but the last 3 episodes have been underwhelming for me. This is supposed…
What do you mean there was no healing in the last 3 episodes? Have we watched the same drama? In this last 3 episodes KT found out who killed his mother, managed to get over the fact that it was MY's mother, didn't run away from his problems (like he used to do in the past) either if we talk about his relationship with his brother or MY and stuck to her side when all she wanted to do was push them away so they didn't have to suffer because of her problems anymore (aka being selfless, a trait that MY didn't even knew existed in the past). ST overcame his fear of butterflies, became their pillar of support in hard times, is much more independent and actually became a true big brother to both MY and ST. I feel like sometimes, with this drama, people are just looking for things to criticize, where there's none because it's so well constructed. The only thing that this drama didn't address, that can be considered a flaw, is how MY's mother didn't die, though there's time for that left in the last episode..
Hmm...a lot of ppl have pointed out the shift in production and directorial style after the first few episodes.…
I mean, i also loved those, it was something new and unique, but is that really something that matters in a drama that much? If they kept doing it all the time then it would get old and just cut away from the time needed to be used for the plot and the character development. The episodes were already pretty long anyway. I think it was balanced well in the end..
The first 4 episodes were amazing to me. Till the zombie story. But after that, I lost my interest in this show.…
"They just wanted to make a romance movie without any special plot twist." ?????????????? ""I thought this would be the story of how Moon Young becomes a healthy person mentally" It was. Don't follow what your disappointment is exactly. The romance? Are you serious?
Yep. I swear there was no disappointing episodes for me in this drama and that never happened before with other series. They really nailed it. And the parallels, just perfect.
Friendly reminder that Moon Young isn’t some alternate version of a bad boy or rich arrogant chaebol. Sis has…
Exactly. Sometime i feel like people are either watching a different drama or they watch it and don't try to understand the characters portrayed by the actors at all because of some preconceived image they made for themselves. It's so strange...
Just my opinion, I hate who she has turned into for him. Its like she has mellowed out so that he can love her…
"Just my opinion, I hate who she has turned into for him" Then it's a good thing she didn't do that FOR HIM. She did it because she was an extremely flawed person with big violent tendencies, no self control and 0 empathy for others. I know, it's cute and "refreshing", but it's not realistic at all and will get boring very fast. If the characters don't change at all in a CHARACTER DRIVEN DRAMA, then what's the point of it? If after watching 14 episodes in which the trio healed and overcame their past traumas (mostly by THEMSELVES, ex. when MY cut her hair. she did it herself, for HER, to get rid of her mothers shadow. She didn't do it "for the ml") that's all you got, then you either need to watch it again, but without the blinders on, or just leave it for good..
the female lead isnt a bad girl.. she has anti-social personality disorder.. her badass behavior comes from the…
Exactly. I'm so dumbfounded that people keep misrepresenting the characters as a skewed argument for why they supposedly don't want to continue the drama..
What "dissatisfaction of EP 13 & 14"? What are you talking about? Ep 13, 14 were among the best in the drama.
Well, first of all, it's not really confirmed that she's MY's mother. She's a psychopat who likes to manipulate people and see them suffer. I keep seeing people jump to conclusions after each week and get proven wrong the coming one. We'll have to wait for the next episode and see who she really is and secondly, even if true, how is the twist a flaw? Just because you don't like it? Not liking 2 full episodes because of a particular twist with a character in a drama seems weird to me. There was so much more happening in those episodes. What about the character development of the trio? How much they grew and changed themselves for the better? Seems like you're letting a tree block you from seeing the forest. Also, the twist is done by the writer. What does it have to do with the studios you brought up?
There are no bad episodes in this drama. If you mean sad, yes. It's probably the most hurtful, especially as it concerns MY, but it's also good as they are finally passing that final hurdle towards their happy ending. The trio is fantastic. They'll probably sweep all the awards..

Couldn't be further from the truth..
