Heartbreaking film. It reminded me of Dear Ex and Close-Knit. And just like Close-Knit, THIS ENDING BROKE MY HEART!!!! I think I also watched the cut version because it seemed so though they skipped SO many great scenes of Lin and his boyfriend so that we could at least feel some sort of connection to them.
THE SECOND LEAD ACTUALLY WON!!!!! I was rooting for the teacher, THEN it turned out that the teacher was actually the second lead and the second lead was the main lead. I caught SLS yes, BUT I loved sensei. He was so sweet and funny. I was hoping this would've turned out to be one of those I'll wait for you until you graduate type movies. (ToT)
LOL, I don't know why I keep coming back here. They literally showed us the same scenes a total of 5 times already. (twice in episode 9 and three times here with little extra scenes) But I do like this new guy. He's fun and made me realize how boring Nite was. They made Tae hotter with the new cut and color and they gave us more-ish dialogue. They're dead ass trying to save the show in the final 3 episodes and the dummy that I am, is eating it up. Hahaha. They honestly do waste a lot of the story with scenes of them just eating or walking around doing nothing. The ending scene looked like it was edited wrong and shouldn't have been there.
Okay 7 episodes in and this is some angsty bullshit, but man I'm eating it up. FINISHED!! I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews. This series was beautiful!!!! HaWon and JiWoon's love story was beautiful! This was SO much better than Boys Over Flowers. Ha Won was actually the best female protag I've ever come across in these love triangle shows. She wasn't stuck in any love triangles (per say), she made it clear to the guys that they were friendzoned and went after the one that she wanted. It had a lot of sweet, funny moments. I loved the singer grandson the best though. He was so sweet. Mr. Lee was the fourth knight if you're wondering. It's not a spoiler, it was just pretty obvious. Anyways, the second leads were annoying...as a couple. I mostly skipped their scenes due to the fact that I couldn't stand the second female lead. They paired off everyone and left Mr. Lee nursing a beer. LOL, such a shame.
LOL, what the hell was this? I feel like they also got the pairings wrong!!! The tall lanky one should be with the gay one. I don't like the annoying one. The step brother is creepy AF. Meh, let's see how they can make me like these pairings.
Great series. It made me guess the bad guy wrong, then right, then wrong again. LOL, man they just kept the plot twists coming with this one. It had great comedy, action, suspense, heartwarming moments and a hint of romance. Kim Seon Ho was adorable and clumsy. This series also made me root for the bad guy, not gonna lie. Bystander Effect is just messed up. I would've also turned into a serial killer too. I enjoyed the chemistry between the leads and I loved the other Subway Cops, especially the other Chief that was always in disguise. The Metro Cops sucked ass though. Anyways, yea, would totally recommend this one. The story kept going and it kept you on the edge of your seat with each revelation that was revealed.
Episode 7 and WHAT THE SHIT!????? HOLY COW!!!! I need episode 8, NOW!!!! Joo Won is a fricking idiot. He's making it so hard to solve this case. My dude, leave Dong Sik alone and just follow his got damn bread crumbs. Edit: FINALLY!!!!!!!!!
In romance genre, a happy ending for me is that all conflict is solved, the two main leads are together and they've either married, or they share that final on screen kiss in the end. I hate open endings where the viewers have to assume they got together or they meet later down the line.
With crime dramas, a happy ending is that the villains are either dead or they get prison time and the lead is praised for their work and is either promoted (if it's a detective drama) or they pretty much end up with whoever female lead they were paired with.
I've enjoyed the series for what it is and appreciate how Prab is so unerringly on Chon's side no matter what.…
I agree. I'm invested in the relationship while at the same time still unsure because Prab has bro zoned Chol so hard since the beginning, even though we can see he really likes him. Heck, even Prab knows he likes Chol, but was really trying to fight those feelings. But yea, things are about to take a turn now.
LOLLLL, man Chol and I were so over Nick this entire episode. Bro catch a clue. I really do hope Prab is the Frog Prince, I cannot take another player entering the chat right now. I'm too invested in Chol and Prab. I'm also over that creepy teacher and Maping. I just don't like that relationship. Brightside, Prab can finally taste the sweet comfort that is a bed.
