LOL, Yura was a straight menace!!! This drama was such wtf! When I saw that Mai was friends with a divorce lawyer, who was secretly in love with her, I was like yep......ML was dumb and weak and only held thoughts with his dick. His father was........sigh.
This was good, but I was laughing through this entire short series. Let me explain. This is a series about two struggling guys (or so we thought) that went to school together and met again. They have a night of sex. They realize okay we like each other. They were happy. Sex & kisses.
Here's the funny part, EVERYTHING was against Jae Min in this relationship. Misunderstanding about a novel title? (he didn't bother to read the rest) Check. Misunderstanding about a contact name in a phone? Check. (Also, when we found out who that person was, I cackled and was like HUH??!!!) Fine...they communicate, make up and have more sex. Enters the female rival who is a bitch, (surprise, surprise) who doesn't know what NO! means. Another roadblock to this already crazy relationship that keeps going downhill with misunderstandings.
She rolls up, threatens Jaemin and it moves from downhill, straight to hell. At this point Jaemin should've been like, giiiirrrrll, just take him. I'm tirreddd. Now run me my check to get lost or don't mess with my job interview.
Then we find out something about Nam Yi that made me laugh even harder because WHAT?! Jaemin has had it up to HERE and starts crying in poor and it ends on a cliffhanger.
Now I'm off to find the uncut bits to see if I miss any info.
I'm usually a Strongberry/Matchbox fan, but the first episode was next level cringe. I'll push through and see how it goes.
EDIT: Whew, good thing this was 6 episodes. The pacing was slow, everyone felt stiff and awkward that you FELT it through the TV and it was just cringe.
Then the whole convo with the professor about loving his cousin. I don't know if it was someone he called a "cousin", but that convo just had me doing The Rock's signature eyebrow move the entire time.
The actors did their best, though. The first SB\MB production that I didn't like. And this was from the same person that gave us LTNS??? Then that weird ass ending.
Well, I didn't hate it. I actually enjoyed it more than the original due to the fact that this one had more story building. I enjoyed TayNew as Karan & Achii. Especially Tay as Karan...he was so good as that character.
It barely had any angst and it was just...so happy. This has got to be the happiest BL I've seen. It just felt like if they could, everyone would've been shooting rainbows out their butts.
The other two couples weren't bad, I just didn't find their romance interesting.
There is no way in bloody hell this will be made, unless it goes straight to Netflix. I've read/watched some weird shit and even this webtoon was hard for me to get through.
You can tell they had the budget for this one. (First time I saw them talked about skin color in any Asian drama I've watched)This was really fun & solid fight scenes. I enjoyed it and would love a season 2 of this. I support anything with Dori, diversity and that can make me laugh. This hit all three. I LOVED ML's dad, police partner. She was a riot.
I didn't hate it, but everything at the gaming company was just so chaotic to follow.
Then Fuyu pretty much pissed me off. Sis wanted her cake and to eat it too. Then the ending felt rushed. Also, I'm assuming she divorced the husband since she ended up with FL. Bah....this could've been great.
Kanta with facial hair is something serious though. 🤤😍
FL's a bitch, but I kinda like her. She's not a malicious bitch, just bitchy.
😭😭 I also want everyone's scratch on their hands explained, cuz WHAT ARE THE ODDS!!! 😂😂
Also she scratched the guy. Why wasn't her first thought process to get DNA results from her nails? That would've cut the show down to like 6 episodes.
And it's getting ridiculous now.
Lee Kwang Hee is so good and hilarious in here. Now I want to re watch him in Love Class again.
Liked the plot twist. It wasn't a bad show, but I enjoyed it for the thriller aspect. The romance was meh. Wasn't really rooting for the leads. They had too much baggage.
A love story about an emotionless, robotic man who falls for his caregiver robot, that taught him how to be human, but also ridiculously dull. Nothing happened during this show.
Stand By My Side is my favorite from this franchise, I didn't like the others. Maybe You Are Mine is a close 2nd.

Oh and I loved the cat.

Really liked Rex and the Underdog team.
