And done. This drama was way to slow, depressing and barely any romance, for me to enjoy. On top of that, it has the most annoying soundtrack.
Gun & Golf, were together for 100 years and we barely got to enjoy the relationship. Then Golf, being the only boyfriend in BL history that I know of, avoided a breakup with such finesse that I had to give him props. That was smooth as hell.
Nan & Chompuu. I did not care. But I loved looking at a clean shaven Pepper.
Name & Em. The only couple that I enjoyed that I had to wait another 100 years for.
Champ. The most depressing of them all that had everyone around him dying, a family that kept everything from him, a sister that delivers good news like it's the end of the world and we never once got to see him happy or in a relationship. But things were looking up in about 2 seconds of the finale.
The best things about this were the kids scenes and the last 10 mins of the finale.
Other than that, if you're bored and in between shows, I guess you can give this one a go.
So I am seeing a lot of hate on the character "Naksu" because people wanted a spicier ending for her character…
Thank you!!! My girl just wants to live her best life with her hubby. I'm glad she got this ending. Her man is all powerful, they don't need anymore power. 🤣
Ahhhhhh, part 2 was the best!!!! Oh my gawddd!!! The Hong Sisters realized we've suffered for years and finally gave us a cookie!!!!!! Yaaassss!!!My badass duo!!!! Loved it!
I adored the anime, but this one felt flat. It didn't have the life like the anime. They left out some stuff and added some things, but it was an alright show. Love Ouji in this role.
These shows really shows me how incredibly stupid the police are in Korea (I really hope it's exaggerated for TV) How the hell can a police, question a minor without a lawyer present and arrest him for murder when there is no physical evidence to prove that the kid did it other than a video just showing him at the scene. Also, the ME didn't even examine the body yet for the cause of death. WTH??!!
Done. Again, it's not dark it's more hilarious than anything. I only finished it to see how it will all end. There is no romance, but we know the leads have feelings for each other. But it's a cool, fun thriller about idiot kids surviving all this nonsense by the Grace of God and pure luck.
Watching my cutie baby Han Se Jin when he nearly OD'd though!!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
LOL that rap battle was so 8 Mile-ish that it hurt!!! 😂😂😂 My ships are getting ready to roll!!! I LOVE the devotion and dedication Tinn has for Gun!!! That is love!!!!
I don't know who lied to you all, but this show is not dark. It's freaking hilarious and these kids were morons, but I liked them. Yes, they all were dealing with some heavy nonsense family wise, but that's about it in terms of "dark theme".
I'm still laughing at the fact that Yoon Tak had no idea he was growing weed in that garden. I mean I can understand, I had a neighbor who was watering her son's plant collection and didn't realize she was watering weed for months either, but it's still hilarious.
Gosh, the second hand embarrassment I'm feeling for the FL in episode 2 is killing me!!!😬😬😬 Note to self,…
The exact moment when they showed Gam-Ri slowly dying while talking about her happy memories and then passing in her sleep, wrecked me. That was exactly how both of my grandparents died and I was the one that found them both times. I had to pause that scene and get in a good cry before moving on. It was heartwarming knowing she didn't die alone though.
Ben seems like a nice guy, but I'm still sus of him. If him and Nueng get together, that's going to be Chopper's villain origin story. Then there's Nueng, simping hard over a guy that he ended up friend zoning, while kissing another but still getting jealous. Then there's Palm, always getting his ass beat for Nueng. Yeesh, love triangles. Anyways, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Gosh, the second hand embarrassment I'm feeling for the FL in episode 2 is killing me!!!😬😬😬 Note to self, avoid broadcasting rooms!!!
Of course they met as kids. Of course.
Finished. This was great up until the leads got together. I began to get bored because they dragged out his secrets and their conflict for far too long.
What would've made this better is if they had brought out the secrets from episode 12 and then just had them being together working through his trauma, then marriage and then babies with them just battling family life with the other residents while keeping it fun, for the rest of the show. You know, like a true slice of life drama. I only stayed because Kim Seon Ho is just so charming and adorable in this role, plus his character Chief Hong, being the most likeable character ever, went through A LOT because everyone blaming him for everything that went down made NO SENSE.
Didn't really like the FL because she was a walking contradiction. She was basically struggling growing up from when her mom died, since her Dad was an alcoholic and she had to raise herself with hardly any money, you would think she would understand ML more, but nope. Hong, who is just living his best life trying to be happy, a freaking genius and is good at EVERYTHING, she finds his nonchalant life bothersome, all because she got into dentist school, got a taste of money and the good life, then talking about they're from different classes of life. Girl no. Everyone in the town was right, SHE was the one who lucked out in the relationship, not him. But she got bearable in the last two episodes.
Then all the angst from the towns people and their relationships/connections in the last two episodes, just for the sake of everything being sad was exhausting.
Anyways, it was funny and I liked SOME of the annoying towns people, but it could've been 12 episodes. The raw fish restaurant owner and Gam-Ri were my favorite people besides Chief Hong. I also enjoyed the friendship with Hong and the television crew. The man just had a way of making everyone his friend.
Kinda reminded me of You've Got Mail.
Anyways, didn't hold my interest for long, ended up dropping it.
