First, is there a season two? Because this literally just ended in mid sentence and I was just like wtf??!!!
I wouldn't call this a masterpiece because the editing was shoddy, the story didn't really flow well because it felt like bits were missing, the acting was somewhat good, but everyone was just so stoned faced. Only the main leads showed an once of facial movement and Hua Yong showed the most.
But this was immensely enjoyable and entertaining. Hua Yong is THE best lunatic that I wouldn't mind being friends with. I loved that the only thing that kept him human was "murder is illegal and Mr. Sheng would be disappointed in me." He ate, slept and pooped ShaoYou. May that level of obsession find me....or not.....*shugs*😂
The second couple were both just really dumb and refused to communicate, so no wonder that stalled and I hope we at least get their side story.
But yea, rushed ending but fun series nonetheless. I won't complain much because getting the first Omegaverse from China of all places, is a feat!!!
Izumi is my favorite character and him and Michio are my favorite pair because I always loved the will they won't they shtick. Same with Arata and Mitsu.
It's crazy that Izumi's actor is the tiniest but the oldest out of the main cast, BUT I feel no chemistry between any of these couples though. It's like they're all just there.....hoping for the best? I don't know. I can't really explain it. I watched the old movies and they were my guilty pleasure watch back in 2019, but this series....I mean it's interesting enough, but feels like it's missing something.
PS...I did not remember Takumi being this annoying for this long in the movies.
Hye Ran is like a character chameleon. WHY did it take me 4 episodes into part 2 to realize she was the helper MOM?!!
*I'll be back*
I'm back! Satisfying end to a great revenge drama. Everyone got what was due but I was lowkey rooting for the dad and Moon Dong, but I DID love Do Hyun's character. He was sweet, funny and crazy all in one, but I wasn't feeling their chemistry.
Got damn. That was......whew......I'm thankful we finally got a PROPER historical BL right out of China, but got damn.
The way I just want to curl up in a ball and cry my eyes out. Definitely not going to re watch this one. Not because it was bad, it was in fact a really bittersweet drama, but because this will take you straight to depressionville.
Started out slow in the first half because it was mostly world building, politics and character intro, but after episode 6 I was locked in.
Prepare for intense love, betrayals and a final episode that will be.....a lot.
Did it have a happy ending? No, but still yes.....

Anyways, just the usual special. Them enjoying their holiday/time together.

But yea, loved this show. It kept me hooked.
Happy for Mishima and his awesome Mom. Taro's Mom was the best too.
But Kirino, my beautiful baby. I feel so bad for him. He needs the key to his Pandora's Box! ðŸ˜
"Aren't you both?"
Motherfker!!!! I am still stuck at this sentence.
