How to get Away with Revenge while Bluffing your Way through Shit.

The above headline should've been the name for this show or "Congratulations, You Played Yourself!" This drama was just simply brilliant. It was a revenge drama through and through and it didn't let you come up for air. The story kept progressing from start to finish, it never got draggy. If it weren't for all the comedic breaks, this drama would've been way too heavy. (I feel like I've said drama to many times. :p)

The acting was great. Everyone played their role well. NAMGOONG MIN!!!! Oh man, he's just the best. Just throw all the Korean acting awards at this man. He can go from happy, to sad, to clueless, to psychotic in just a matter of minutes in scenes. I just love his acting style. I was also really impressed with Choi Won Young. Been following him since Hello Monster, so I knew he would've had this character in the bag.

Anyways, long story short, if you're a k-thriller fan who wants to be in for a wild ride, I'll definitely recommend this. It also has one of the most satisfying endings. You pretty much give a sigh of relief with the characters, when it's all over. Rewatch value, I would say meh, because then the rush of watching this wouldn't be the same as being a first time watcher. Check this one out!!!!

So Good!

Story
It was the fluffiest, cutest BL I've ever seen. It also had a collection of really funny moments. It's on par with Cherry Magic and Like In The Movies.

Acting/Cast
They were perfect. This chemistry was on point. Alec was just so smooth. He embodied Chen perfectly. He was like the flirt king. Ali was just the cutest with his innocence and awkwardness. I would also love to see a spin off with Martin or at least him starring in his own BL. I immediately liked him.

Music
I enjoyed it, especially the intro theme song. It's so quirky.

Rewatch Value
Yes!

Overall
I have nothing bad to say about this series. It was just so good. You won't regret picking this one up.

Eh.....Could be better but......

Story
I was really excited when they announced that LBC was getting a season 2 and couldn't wait to see more of Ae/Pete and Tin/Can again, but then the whole thing with Saint happened and I wasn't as excited as before, but then I thought, "okay well at least I'll get to see more of Tin/Can". The first episode happened and it just went "WTF" from there. They completely rewrote Tin/Can's storyline but the other characters lives moved forward for about the first 6 episodes, so the audience were left confused wondering what the hell was happening. We had to deal with an emo Ae for a while with no explanation as to what happened with him and Pete, so only those who read the book had the most understanding as to what was going on this season. It started to pick up from episode 7 and got back on track, but it still didn't get any better. The story kind of still flipped flopped around. Apparently it stayed true to the book version of Tin and Can.

Acting/Cast
Most of the OG casts returned, BUT THEY WERE NOT UTILIZED AT ALL. Guys like Mark and Gun (especially Mark) were barely there even though we were supposed to get some sort of continuation with their story. Earth was the one who was REALLY under used since we got to see him a total of 3 times with 10 second screen time. Mean and Plan kind of felt like they just didn't want to be there and their chemistry wasn't as good as it was in season 1.(Their love scenes and kisses were cringe) Mean was great on his own though, but his scenes with Plan...oye. I blame the script. New comers Meen and Est (Tul and Hin) could've been used more because I finally got into their storyline but they were wasted here too. Perth was the only one that acted well and did a better job. Then the cast started disappearing and then popping up randomly to the point you kind of forget they were actually on the show. (Mai's character & Bow)

Music
It was great. You cannot go wrong with Boy Sompob.

Rewatch Value
None...once was enough.

Overall
Some might like it and others won't. If you're really invested in Tin/Can then watch this. I must admit that they had a lot of really cute moments especially Tin. I loved all of his moments with Can and Can brought some funny moments too. This was honestly a skippable season.

For all the cat lovers out there.

If you love cats and watching a cute guy shape shift into and act like an arrogant cat, then this is the show for you. It was a very silly and funny fantasy romance drama. The male and female leads are so cute and even the 2nd lead characters were great. The show honestly gave us the greatest 2nd lead syndrome. If you want a drama to keep you smiling this one is it. The story is so cute and funny even though it got ridiculous sometimes, but it keeps you entertained and interested.
I was satisfied with the ending too.
The actors performances were great, especially Kevin's. This guy had all the cat gestures and patterns to a tee. He embodied a cat and basically gave us what we all think a cat would be like in human form. Xi Wei Tian was so cute and adorable as Little Mint. She also had some of the funniest dialogues. The leads had great chemistry because they seem to be having a lot of fun. I enjoyed the music and the action, though some of the fight choreography was laughable, it was still very much enjoyable to see.
I couldn't stop laughing at how the villains were portrayed. If you've seen 101 Dalmatians and know who Cruella De Ville is, you'll get why I was laughing so much at them. The opening song was so cute and catchy that it suited this drama. Is this re watchable? Bet your bottom dollar it is.
Overall, if you love to laugh and want some cheesy, romantic fun to kill about 3 hours on a lazy afternoon, check this one out.

Pretty Good Ghost Story

Story
This was actually a good supernatural drama. I honestly wasn't expecting to laugh so much here. It's a light and sometimes fluffy romance, with a hint of ghost. I wouldn't say this was scary, SCARY. But it did had a couple of jump scares that caught me off guard. The story as follows, boy can see ghosts, boy falls for an adorable yet clingy ghost. Evil ghost came back for boy, there is a link between boy, ghost girl and evil ghost. Lots of stuff happens in-between, then queue ending. (I was trying not to give away as much as possible here.) The best part of this series that I enjoyed the most was with the two best friends which were Bong Pal's seniors. That was the greatest love story ever. (LOL, you can't change my mind!!!) They were hilarious, especially In Rang.

Acting/Cast
They were all great. If you were into 2PM back in the day, you'll recognize Teac Yeon. He was pretty good in here. So Hyun was great too. She was a mixture of quirky, annoying and bad ass. I liked the chemistry between them. Even though I got more of a sibling/best friend vibe from them. (I think it's because there is a big age gap between the actors and she was like 16 or so at the time of this show) The acting from everyone else didn't seem forced or awkward. Maybe Ki Young sometimes acted WAY too over dramatic, but let's chalk it up to that being his crazy character.

Music
Love the OST

Re-watch Value
Sure.

Overall
It was a fun, action packed show that will keep you entertained for a good 16 hours. Don't judge it, just go into it for the pure entertainment and laughs. (I've learned to never put too high of expectations on shows.)

Another "terrifying" Thai horror with some spin tingling twists and turns .

Season two!!!! Let's go!!!! I loved the first one. Thai horrors are always great!!! Still waiting for an After Dark sequel.

Our Little Sister: Haunted doll ghost story. Fear Factor 3/10

Wedding Dress: Revenge ghost story. Fear Factor 7/10. Since most people are so partial to sex scenes and nudity (I've been desensitized so much) there is a big one in this episode.

Ode to Family: Haunted house story, think Amityville Horror with a, I don't know, parallel universe twist?? It wasn't scary, but it was WILD! The plot twist was crazy. Fear Factor 2/10 (fav)

The Vow: Couples therapy with a supernatural twist. Not scary, but the suspense was great. Fear Factor 0/10

Spectral Class was so funny. A teacher gets mixed up with the wrong family.....or is it the other way around....dun dun DUN!. I didn't get the point of it, but I enjoyed the mother and son duo and the story. Fear Factor 0/10.

Girl Next Door: Can't have a horror without my boy Nat. Your usual the girl next door is more than meets the eye type horror. Sad twist. A little sex in this. Fear Factor 2/10

Dear Granny: This was creepy AF!!! 😭😩 That hide n seek game was POINTLESS!!! Crazy twist that I didn't see coming. Fear Factor 8/10 (fav)

Viral Curse: Viral Curse.....meh...Mom being haunted. A few jump scares. It wasn't bad. Fear Factor 6/10

Overall it was a good and some of the episodes relied on jump scares the most, but I liked the first one better.

A story about a guy who scratched and clawed his way from the friendzone.

Wheew, this was a journey. Nan had the guys on here fucked up. I wanted to punch Phu so much. I've never come across such stubborn men in my life!!! It took 30 years for these knuckleheads to figure their shit out.

I enjoyed it though. It was funny, frustrating and heart warming. The secondary characters were also great especially GIGI, grandma and the cat.

Since this is based on a true story, I'm curious if the two brothers are really dating guys named Nan Fah. 😂🤣

Wish them all the happiness though.

16 episodes of Rain and not one scene with him shirtless. A travesty.

This was quite possibly the only medical drama I've ever enjoyed. Add in the mixture of great comedy, bromance and the supernatural concept, this made for great TV. I usually tend to zone out when watching medical shows because the jargon usually just goes over my head and makes me lose interest, but not with this.

This story was interesting, Rain and Kim Bum did a great job in their roles. Their budding bromance was the best thing about this drama. The romance was a little unnecessary, but it was used to drive the plot with Rain's character.

The side characters were well done. All of their story arcs will have you laughing and crying. Their heartwarming moments will hit you right in the feels.

Sadly no shirtless Rain. I've seen that man in a crop top, I need more. :D Kim Bum was adorable as ever. It's like whenever I see him, he keeps looking younger and is such a cutie.

The villains in here had bark but no bite. So you don't have to worry too much about them. I'm taking off a star because I felt as if I didn't get the proper closure I wanted with the coma ghosts. I was hoping we got to see all of them meeting and becoming friends again.

In conclusion, solid drama that will keep you laughing, tearing up and entertained.

As LUCK may have it, opposites do attract

If you're into cute, funny and just a simple all around slice of life BLs with no angst, just pure fun, then this is the drama for you. It was easy going and did I say funny as hell? You'll be laughing at every episode. It was like watching the student years of the guys from Cherry Magic. I loved Kota with this chaotic energy. His true self was funny as hell and a whole mood. The actor also looked like a baby Shirasu Jin, so that was an added bonus.

So it's basically about two guys who are complete opposites when it comes to luck, falling for each other. Kota suffers from terrible bad luck, but he hides his true, miserable personality and comes off as this person with a bright disposition. (LOL he's not. He's a miserable toad) When they're together, Kota's bad luck gets cancel out by Naoya's good luck. But little does Kota knows, Naoya's hiding a fun little secret.

The acting was good. The two leads portrayed their characters well, especially the actor that plays Kota. I loved him. There is also a little hint of a GL love story in there that was blossoming I guess. There is also a bunch of little cute life lessons mixed into the story. My only issue is, I wish it was longer so we could've gotten a better developed relationship with the leads.

If it was longer, maybe it would have worked.

I liked the concept of the story, but with 6 episodes coming in at 28 mins, they really didn't have time to develop anything. The leads relationship rushed to the point we felt no attachment to them or really cared. I didn't really like the actor that played Yeon Seok. He was kind of stiff to me. Plus his outfits were ugly. How cold was it at the time of filming that he would wear that moth bitten shirt, then a long jacket, THEN a suit jacket over the long jacket? The stylist did him dirty. I did enjoyed watching the actor that played David though. He was just adorable and his crying face was too cute and funny. The one that did a good job was the actress that played Sin Bi. She was really good in her role, even though she didn't have that much scenes. Other than that, this was just your basic k-drama where the uber rich heir ends up with someone. If this was at least 12 episodes and ore character development, maybe this would've been better.

This review may contain spoilers

Maybe the ONLY BL that doesn't deserve a happy ending.

I went into this with low expectations and I'm glad I did. Because seriously, what the fuck was this? It started out so great with the whole who is Enchante plot, then the reveal and episodes 8-10 ruined the entire drama for me,

What I loved:

Akk.
NO ONE deserves this man. He was loyal, loving, cute, looked like he carried the entire weight of the world on his shoulders but still had time to be the best boyfriend in BL history. Just too bad he had to suffer with ending up with a terrible partner.
The funny moments.
I'll give this show a pass because its funny moments were great thanks to Akk. (see how it always circled back to him?)

And this is the end of what was likable about this drama.

What I hated:

That fucking soft toned filter.

Theo.
He's possibly the worse character. He never apologized to Akk. He blamed him for not telling him about his parents' divorce (which wasn't for him to tell), and then for ghosting him, then to freaking up and LEAVE him and then lastly not even introducing Akk as his boyfriend to Sun. And just overall treating him like shit even though he did nothing wrong. Then there's also him acting like a literal child and trying to force his parents back together. Akk told him to respect their decision and he didn't.
The Plot.
The entire premise of this drama was stupid. It's basically a story about a man who returned to Thailand, did the most elaborate plot to basically get a love confession out of his best friend, to then UP AND LEAVE HIM. Who does that??
The Harem
This was quite possibly the worst harem that had ever "harem-ed". Three out of the four guys were problematic as hell and only one, which was the singer, who had no ill intentions, got roped into joining forces with Theo to deceive Akk.
The Reveal
I mean, if you think about it, Natee told us who Enchante was from the very beginning with all the portraits he painted. What they SHOULD'VE done, was just make Akk as the reveal, even though we know it would be the obvious choice. Kinda like how Fish Upon A Sky went and scratch the entire lying thing OR just showed Theo coming back and courting the guy.
The Ending
Ain't no FUCKING WAY, the writers should've made Akk be the one to make the trip and apologize. THEO should have done that. Akk did NOTHING wrong but love this dumbass. Maybe the one time I wanted a sad ending for this drama.

In conclusion, this could've been better, but they ruined it by giving us a TERRIBLE male lead.

The Name of the Drama Explains it All.

This was quite frankly, the HAPPIEST C-drama I've ever watched. Now this is what I call a rom-com. It was romantic, funny, sweet and gave you a lot of heart fluttering moments. There were no love rivals, no breakups, no misunderstandings, NOTHING. The story was surprisingly good and this was the only c-drama that I didn't had to fast forward, skip episodes and I also didn't want it to end. It also had the best ending.

The male lead is not what you would call traditionally handsome, but his height, charisma and charm made him so freakishly attractive. He also had this hot, sexy energy about him too. I enjoyed watching him when he came on screen. He was to play this cold, stoic genius, but when he was in love, oh man, the way he looked and touched the female lead and those kisses!!!! He was so sweet. We all need a boyfriend like Shao Qing. Also, when he finally smiled, he has the cutest smile. You can tell he was really into his role. Female lead was okay, but she didn't really bring the chemistry in some scenes. It actually looked as though he was more into her than she was with him, but I enjoyed watching them together. Weirdly enough, they had a great sexual chemistry though. I liked her better in PYHOMS.

The second leads stole the show for me. I loved them. They had the best chemistry and I really enjoyed the SFL. She was adorably dumb and annoying and you would get tired of her just crying all the time, but she was just so darn likable. SML was great too. He played his role well and has the prettiest eyes. I enjoyed watching their love story. All the other side characters were likable, especially the cousin. This drama didn't drag and they made the doctor and lawyer scenes interesting, so you wouldn't get bored. The acting from everyone wasn't awkward and it just felt natural.

All in all, this was a well done rom-com that can definitely be re-watched. Plenty of hot kisses, romance and just an easy drama to watch with zero angst or conflict. Give it a go.

A bromance hidden behind a straight drama.

I really liked it. It was very funny and all the couples were likeable, main couple...eh. ML's assistant was just the cutest little thing and I thought we would hate the model, but she became my favorite character. We all need a BFF like her. But let's be honest here, the story line was complete garbage. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING could've been cleared up with an apology and sitting around a campfire with a truth stick. It just felt like the plot kept repeating itself til the end. Also, the true love story here was between ML and his best friend. I loved their story arc so much. But yeah, it's still a very likeable drama. Lots of kisses, weird misunderstandings, countless break ups that weren't really break ups (you'll understand when you watch) and I enjoyed the friendships between the cast. My favorite couples were the second and third. The mains were just irritating. It's also a very happy ending. Just enjoy it for what it is and come for the laughs and romance. But the plot...argh, so irritating.

Not a fan of Filipino dramas but.....

I don't like Filipino dramas, but this one peaked my interest because I came across the theme song in an Instagram video and I couldn't get it out of my head. Now I'm glad I followed the song. This series was like a combination of Mean Girls, Boys Over Flowers and Another Cinderella Story. Basically a melting pot of all the teen, rom coms you can think of. And it was GOOD. Max was the character that I wanted for the BOF drama. I really liked her. She was a tough cookie that fought back. The chemistry between her and Deib was great. The actors really went all out for this one, although the one that played Lorde was SO annoying. The story was great even though it used every cliches and tropes in the book. The side characters and the couples were very likable too. Throw in your bitchy villains, a sprinkle of great comedy and some heartwarming moments and you got yourself a very well played out teenaged rom com. I liked this one. I would recommend for a lazy weekend binge.

Brilliant

This series was.... BRILLIANT. It had action, comedy, romance. It out you in your feelings, EVERYTHING. The actors did such a great job here. They all brought their own personality to the characters and gave them life. Hell even the bad guys you will love. Lee Seung Gi did such a great in his role. I don't know how a man can deliver such mean lines and still make you swoon. The Devil King was amazing too and just hilarious.
The soundtrack was amazing. If you didn't play When I Saw You hoping to see that sexy monkey standing behind you, you didn't watch this series right!!!! Rewatch value? Hell to the yes.

Overall this was such a cool show that kept you entertained and engrossed in the story. You didn't get bored once. Episode 20 was such a great closure to this series. It made me feel better after what they did to me in 19.
