I know BP is not Netflix original, it was only for online distribution. Every decision for making squel all depends on SBS and production company. Although BP is doing very well in Netflix, Netflix will not throw their money for this. They are busy doing Sweet Home 2, Squid Game 2, or maybe AOUAD 2 too.

It's based on its own webtoon of the same title. Kang Tae Mu here didn't parody or imitate anyone. His styling or gestures are all closely done from the webtoon.

I'm kinda in a dilemma. I want to see these beloved characters as long as I could. But at the same time, the resources are not enough and it will only be draggy. Actors also might not be interested to come back, especially AHS already has upcoming dramas. Same for others.
