The drama moves really slowly — the actions and dialogues drag on so much that I usually watch it at 1.7x speed, and only then it feels like the pace of other Chinese dramas. Honestly, the slow pacing might make you feel a bit bored.
Yes, JZ is filming The Treasured Bajia Book (which is also known as the Mystic Nine 2).https://kisskh.at/692399-the-mystic-nine-2
Afrter i found out he only plays wu xie in ultimate Note (the series), I felt really sad and disappointed. I think the actors playing Wu Xie and Zhang in UN were really great and had amazing chemistry... especially since Wu Xie’s sadness for Zhang felt so natural. That’s why, in my opinion, they shouldn’t have changed the actors for these two roles in the later series, at least.

I’ve seen some of his other shows too, but his acting as Wu Xie was really something — he made fear, pain, and all that feel so real and natural. Every episode, I was kinda waiting for something bad to happen to him just so I could see his great acting even more.
Which drama should I watch after this one to continue the series?
Kinda annoying that the dramas weren’t made in order. Each year they dropped a random part of the story, so it’s confusing which one to watch next. Wish they had just called it one series with seasons. for example: daomu biji s1 the lost tomb daomu biji s2 the lost tomb2 daomu biji s3 reunion 1 sound of the...
All dramas based on LGBT themed novels were banned in china indefinitely, even if censored. there's some rumours…
In the sense that, because of the show's genre — even though there's nothing explicit in it — the bromance theme is banned in China, so the series can’t be produced, and we just have to wait.
Well, it isn't Mission Impossible, but I don't expect those sort of 'thrills' in police procedurals. It was emotionally…
Honestly, the idea that someone can draw a person’s face just from their skeleton, or sketch them accurately even if they’re wearing a hat, doesn’t seem very scientific or logical — it would’ve made more sense if the show leaned into a fantasy genre instead. To be fair, the first six episodes were quite strong, especially when the main character came face-to-face with the killer. But after that, not much really happened. The pace slowed down, and most of the time was spent on conversations rather than actual suspense or events.
I should also mention that the story moved very slowly — I had to watch it at 1.5x speed, and sometimes even 2x, just to stay engaged. I wasn’t expecting Mission: Impossible levels of action, but considering it’s labeled as a thriller, I expected at least half the spirealm 2024 unfortunately, it didn’t deliver on that.
No, the romantic relationship is contextually implied. This is a censored BL.
i recently downloaded S.C.I. and watched a few scenes. I also found it kind of boring and not really action-packed. But could you explain more about why you thought it was boring?

there isn't thriller at all..
that's doesn't make sense....
If I want to watch the previous seasons, which series are they in and in what order?
