I don't like very happy xianxia dramas, I prefer more painful dramas. I couldn't get interested in Chong Zi or Starry Love, it seems more of the same (I already got sick of xianxia lol). The longest promise seems to be a drama that I will enjoy and I hope Xiao gets more interesting roles.

I'm not a big fan of comedy, I prefer drama and suffering lol. But I believe this drama has its share of that as well.

I haven't read the novel, so I don't know the age of the characters, but I would like more mature actors, I think it matches the synopsis of the story. Something that has always bothered me in novel's and cdramas is that young characters (mainly men) are always shown as extremely mature and experienced when they are not old enough to have developed this.
