Hi, about the tongue surgery I read it on Twitter (Moon Chae Won Pics's profile) and about her modulation I don't have a problem either, I just mencioned because I read comments on KissAssian and in a review about it and it's probably the case of certain people.
As I said, MCW is one of my favorite actresses and I think with her versatility she can pull any role. I don't know if you watched The Princess's Man, in my opinion, her best performance ever.
Good analysis of the episodes btw. I agree she is doing her role well as it was written. About her drunk scenes, the ones in Good Doctor are great and so funny hahaha.

No offense but I hate Moon Chae Won acting. This is my 3rd time watching her in a drama and still her acting dosen't…
To me she is one of the best Korean actresses and worldwide. I've seen her first in The Princess's Man and her acting was on top. I really mean it. You can feel her grief and struggling, and I consider myself very critical in terms of acting. Then, I watched Innocent Man, she was so great also there, her character was totally opposite to the one in The Princess's Man, she was cold in the beginning but then fragile. I've watched also Good Doctor in which i also liked her acting and Shining Inheritance, where she was even superior to the lead actress Han Hyo Joo. Besides, in movies like War of the Arrows and Awaiting, she was perfect.
I read somewhere some people think that she has a problem with her modulation, but I also read that she had a tongue surgery because of a health issue.
I respect your opinion, but it's a surprise for me the totally different points of view people have (I know many people love her and her acting). I believe we still have not seen her best scenes in the drama though she has already good ones.
Finally, Lee Joon Gi is a great actor also but his role as a psychopath has more sides to show. I mean if MCW has this type of roles think she will rock as well but her role is more passive in this drama.

Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
Really enjoying the series as a whole.However...The Scenes where the cops "tried" to arrest the taxi driver was…
It's about her husband and she knows that the taxi driver has already murdered in cold blood, in those cases anyone breaks the learned protocols or training and runs to the rescue of their loved one. Then, they leave the young officer in the car not to only to guard but to ask for reinforcements and show them the way, the older detective has already interviewed the taxi driver before and knows that he acts like that because of his missing wife then he thought he could stop it by himself, perhaps his mistake was having trusted his technique and not having used his gun to intimidate him.
Cha Ji Won runs to the rescue of her husband when the weapon (knife) had fallen to the ground, it is logical that anyone in her place first goes to the rescue their family, in those cases the seconds are important, if the two detectives would have gotten into a fight with the taxi driver then DHS would have drowned.
I believe the young officer has never been in such a situation that's why he doesn't use his gun, anyways i think he was in shock.

Don't hesitate to watch this drama. Best couple, best chemistry, excellent actors especially the female lead MCW.
I've seen many historical Korean dramas but this is still the best one for me.

I can't believe you're talking about Moon Chae Won, she is one of the finest actresses in Korean dramas.
