well i dont hate action/war scenes either but i just feel like in this drama they were boring lol i do prefer the palace scenes because the FL and the emperor interacting was far more interesting as you said!

My only complaint is that it felt like the "war" scenes especially with Wang Yu were quite boring and i had to skip through them in every episode. Other than that i loved the palace drama !! Im definitely going to watch more works from Ha Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook!

decided to watch this because i love ballet and Shin Hye Sun. I generally liked this drama especially the two leads and their acting;; my only complaint is that it was starting to get a little slow/boring towards the last episodes (for me anyways) but other than that, it was fun to watch!! i hope we'll get to see more dramas with shin hye sun as a lead in the future <3

I really enjoyed this drama because it was something different - it included horror-mystery and cults altogether (also i loved the influence from japanese horror?? like sometimes it made me feel like i was watching sth like that lol), what disappoints me a little is that i still have some unanswered questions for some of the characters and the plot that confused me ? but overall, i really liked it :)

I've watched Sweet Home, Navillera and Nevertheless and i loved him in all of them! I've seen actors that are much worse and cringe than him, so i don't get the hate he constantly gets (i guess jealousy) ? Like leave the guy alone lmao
