I just saw that this show director was also director of Flex & cop. If it’s that then the slow burn romance quite make sense. While Flex & cop has season 2 but this has only 12 episodes so idk how it’s gonna progress. I guess we might have subtle hint towards the end that’s it.
Honestly even if no romance this show is quite good but if there is romance , it has potential and they look too good to be true though😭

The thing I like most about this show is that this wasn’t even the most masterpieces of show I have seen. It was silly at times but this one will stay longer than any of those because this genuinely felt like returning home. I was gone back to the time when I used to feel exactly this way when watching something. I actually forgot what it used to feel like watching a show full of butterflies like 2-3 years ago. I thought I was “matured” enough so I wasn’t same anymore but just one show showed me I am still there. I went back to the time when I loved a show in a deep rooted level and not like only in surface. It genuinely gave me happiness and I really hope china will produce more BL because I tell you what if they started doing this more they sure gonna rule the BL world. It’s me being little selfish but I want a historic BL so much. Anyway moving back to the show as I told you this show was sometime silly, made me cry, made me laugh, I cringed , was angry time to time but overall I felt everything.
I don’t know how many time I am gonna rewatch this show but I can guess.
