Hry, the difference between book end vs series end?

The end is similar, but Chan is alive, you know Porsche doesn't believe Korn, Vegas and Porsche work together in the minor family (and ex bodyguards from minor family join them to help), Porsche's mom is dead bur Korn had her body frozen or smth 'so the kids could see her' (Korn is a psycho), KimChay is a couple who fight a lot but are together, we know Korn is manipulating everyone and Kim is also the leader of the underground organization - so we get 3 groups not just main x minor fam, Kan had a mistress Pim who gave birth to a kid VP adopts called Venice.

i see the scene as a twist of the moment he had to put his gun in vegas back bc of kim's stare :)
