finally caught up, the grandma story was a bit too melodramatic for my taste, but I really like their relationship. it's been a while since I found a Thai BL that I actually like.

we have very different views so thank you for sharing your pov with me, I think JH was confused by DBW's actions and didn't know how to act, besides yes being slow and weird. I don't think JH avoided communication but DBW, one example is DBW deciding not to pursue music. I agree with you when you say it wasnt cute, and the series is very bad yes with the jealous trope - it was terrible, I wont even mention the 3rd guy, it's like he was added for some tension but it just made me dislike DBW more. I hope we have better luck with KBL next time 😆

that is partly true imo, bc he never lied he was always honest and DBW somehow never believed him. He was so caught up in how impossible it was and the friendship that it never really crossed his mind JH liked him for real. And in our teens some people are slower... I saw some people say JH outed DBW in the original material which would give more depth to the story and justify some of DBW's actions, but given what they used in the series I dont think he was that bad/crazy. I actually fest bad for JH since ep 1, because if my best friend looked at me like DBW looked at him many times - utter disappointment - I would feel like trash.

it is a subtle relationship, funnier than romantic, they have a good friendship and over the top actions. I liked it.

This series is very good, I will never understand the rating for jdramas in this site...

I've watched 2/3 of the previous koibitos, and they were all so fluffy and heartwarming, I dont think I can deal with this one, I'm so sad the version with Yusei doesn't have a happy ending TT

like my friends say they had 5dollars and a dream... the production is bad, but well I will keep watching for Yusei

I was depressed for half ep9 , I binged the series this weekend and I really liked the story and the leads. I'm glad I started and that Akin has good friends and Jin, it warms my heart.

Just started ep2 and living it so far, the hype is justified and they serve visuals 🔥
