I agree, especially about the trashing... They don't engage and very often they don't make sense in their arguments.

currently reading the light novels (and caught up with the manga) bc I fell hard for them

This story is so dear to me and it's been for me for most of my life. I feel here Sawako is way less gloomy and awkward and Kazehaya is so average. This toned down the angst and spark of the story for me. This may be my least favorite version, but still very heart warming and cute.
