Yey reading time >grabs coffee I was surprised to see Kimas one of the key characters, but it makes so much sense.…
I really hope Kim is more used if we get a s2 for us to see his investigation. I'd love for Kinn or Khun to be helping him behind the scenes.
Oh yeah, everybody in to take Korn down is such a need! Sadly after that VP ch1 (sorry to mention this sensitive topic) it makes it even harder to believe that will be possible. I see more of an Iron Man x Captain America scenario and this is sad! I didn't want them to be in opposite sides, so gotta trust Vegas and Porsche's series love for our Pete and Kinn and BoC in its adaptation if and when we get a s2.
I love VegasPete story from the novel but I think I like the serie's version a bit more. I love how they maintained…
Saved your posts to read and comment calmly during my break, finally will be able to do so, thank u for sharing your brain with us. 💜
Indeed, what a tremendous job BoC did adapting VP. I guess I’ve never seen such a carefully crafted story in all its details and complexity. I understand ppl who did not connect with VP, but those who do are in very deep bc the feelings are just too many and too much. I liked the novel and not bc of the story, it shocked me so much I don’t recommend it to my friends, it took me some time to process the events and the cultural differences there. I liked it because I went from wanting Vegas dead to loving him. In the series they gave me many more reasons to do so.
I have probably mentioned before, but I also love that the imbalance I felt in the novel, always wondering how Pete had 'captured' Vegas and that he was just too good, was solved in the series. They elevated the story and made Pete a complex flawed character true mafia, bubbly outside and damaged inside. Reading the novel you don’t understand very well why Pete is in love with Vegas, it surprised me so much, in the series you see the bigger picture, Pete's past, his pain, his curiosity, his decision and yet his confusion, that scene with Porsche… I loved it.
I completely agree with you about the series Vegas > “In the novel during the war he asked Pete if there was any chance he would choose him over the main family. In the series he never made Pete choose, he just confessed his feelings expecting nothing in return.” I liked that part in the novel, the vulnerable Vegas that was so hard to see, but I rly prefer what happens in the series, Pete choosing naturally and a Vegas who doesn’t believe but sees it bf being shot (best scene ever omg).
Lovely read Tato, it warms my heart and makes me love VP even more.
I wonder under what occasion will Pete say ''I love you'' to Vegas. While his words '' I am your pet'' and ''I…
One more reason why we need S2 T.T
Like you said, guess Pete will only say it when he sorts out all of his feelings... Looking at his actions we can tell he lives in his head and that he had a hard time processing things. Probably the turning point ofc was seing Vegas' pain, but still has he forgiven Vegas? And the most difficult, has he forgiven himself for being so out of character? Being so weak and break in front of Vegas? Pete has a huge sense of duty, he even thought he had an image to protect, he has his pride and all that was shatered. I think he will only say I love you when nothing like that matters anymore, in a distant future. Like where I am putting the side stories, in a future where Vegas has the minor family ring and gives it to Pete as proof of his devotion.
Damn, missing VP and KP and the joy. Love reading u as always 💕💕💕
Good morning ❤️I really do miss my dose of kp in the weekends 😖So what would you like to see in season…
*Kim suffering to get Chay back *Porsche and Vegas taking down Korn - hopefully with Kim's help and Pete's *Macau friends with Chay *Kinn and Kim working together *Kinn realizing how bad his father is *Vegas and Pete struggling to make it work, i dont mind them fiighting over jealousy or giving us some angst as long as they don't forget their crazy love *Domestic whipped Vegas *Tankhun being the smartest as always and bullying Vegas whenever he can *Dr Top lol *Korn dead
