I honestly only want HJP to be happy, it's not necessarily to be end up with DM.. But the writer define HJP happiness is with DM (the playing go stop scene with DM family). If only the writer gives HJP love lines with other character, I don't care SDM NDS endgame..

I feel you, Dark is my fav show as well, mind bending yet neat plot! For Start Up, the story is messy and inconsistent tbh, but I keep going for HJP character. I've been so invested with his story and rooting for his happiness..

I'm agree with you. The way Scarlet Heart Ryeo shifting viewers heart from rooting for Second Male Lead (Kang Ha Neul) to Male Lead (Lee Joon Gi) are so smooth.. I remember like Kang Ha Neul in the earlier eps but end up rooting for Lee Joon Gi..
In Start Up, they lose the momentum to shine out Male Lead by prolong and dragging the Lies until half story and make the writing sloppy and inconsistent just to save Male Lead character..
