I finished ep 2 just not too long ago, and wow but i wonder what like how its going to develop

In the beginning the kid who fed a rat to the snake, but then the creatures fought. Who did he become? And also there's like a 30 secs about the next eps and was that a doctor, but he seemed like he had a vibe of a killer, and who is the kid who killed the fish? Like I wonder what character they become. Like you know which actor is playing that role of who, and there was also something about like another killer and stuff.
