Dong Eun and Uea show a very different sides of what we call: PTSD

Ha Doyoung was ruthless with his action and even got his hands dirty, which made me think what if he took Yeon Jin side? I can't imagine the outcome.
Even though many romanticised him with Dong Eun, I couldn't he always had this eerie air around him.

A possible explanation: She didn't won't to involve innocent people, people who didn't inflict pain on her, who didn't hurt her otherwise she would be the same as those she wanted to take revenge on.

Also I find her answer intriguing and ambiguous and not too romantic... She didn't clearly state that Yesol is innocent and has nothing to do with her revenge, which is understandable, cuz at one scene at the sand playground she told Yesol that she owes her an apology cuz she knows whatever she is going to do to Yeon Jin to make her pay for her bullying, will certainly affect her daughter no matter what.

Another possiblity: when she said she didn't want to hurt Doyoung, maybe she meant she didn't want to make him an unnecessary and potentially much powerful enemy and consequently a hindrance to her revenge plan by hurting his daughter.

I said it before and I stand by what I said : Doyoung can never EVER be, even half of what Yeo Jung is to Dong Eun. That man YJ can kill and die for her.... No justification needed, even before he saw her scars, he was already attracted to her and willing to help her, once he saw what they did to her, there was no doubt no hesitation in his mind: I WILL PROTECT THIS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN WITH MY LIFE . On the other hand, look how Doyoung tried to subtly negotiate with her regarding her plans and not till the late half of part 2 and after stack of undeniable proof that he started to see justifications to her revenge and even then he didn't take her side till Yeon Jin pushed his buttons and stooped so low, far low then he can tolerate (cuz initially he was ready to shield her or at least maintain the status quo even when he knew what she did to Dong Eun in the past.

Chemistry doesn't always translate to compatibility, or to connection. He is so far from that. He is simply attracted to this mysterious woman.

We seriously need season 3 or a special episode themed: Yeo jun revenge

The teen had nothing to fear of losing, she had an adult covering her tracks. The grown up now is the one with so much to lose so she can't act as brasen as before

You can criticise this drama for whatever reason you want , except for one: THE ACTING.... from main to the most minor ... Every SINGLE ACTOR did justice by their character... The acting was undebatably top notch.
This drama will be remembered for a long loooooong time

The tension between do young and Yeo Jung at that playground was gripping and when they each talk abt dong Eun , you can literally see their microfacial expressions.

People who were rooting for ha do young as a male lead, let's be honest: Ha Doyoung can never EVER even be half of what Yeo Jun is to dong Eun and definitely he won't do what YJ did for her. JYJ can kill for her, he can die for her, her can heal her, he is on her side WITHOUT questioning her, doubting her, stoping her, or betraying her... He is 1000% her person. And that's what Dong Eun mostly needed, not just revenge, but knowing that there are people who CHOSE to take HER SIDE willingly.

He is only a puppy in front of Dong eun
