This drama made me realize how far C-dramas have come. This felt like one of those modern romances where the plot barely moves, isn't even that heavy, yet somehow takes 32 episodes for the leads to realize they like each other. I love the actors, and they're honestly the only reason I finished it. I watched the whole thing at 2x speed. 😭 Please don't make dramas like this anymore.

I honestly think the same. The ML also had some nightmares, which he mentioned to the heavenly emperor, but he discarded them, saying they were rubbish or something. That king is definitely hiding his truth and did have a past with ML's parents.
