Yah crossfire is a bit unique because they are trying to have the future/past timeline thing which i did find a bit annoying. I try to watch it as two separate story combined in one. It is more focused on gaming and no romance but i did enjoy crossfire overall. I dropped go go squid as well. This drama kinda reminds me of go go squid bc its high rating and something i do not enjoy as well. Love 020 is still the best gaming romance drama for me but you may not like that one bc its more focused on romance. You may also like hikaru no go if you like those competition type of drama

Im just watching this drama because i really like xu kai but this drama is just okay. I like the setting for this one better than his other ancient love poetry which is released around the same time. The female lead acting still havent improved. I have seen her in world of fantasy and legend of awakening and shes just okay. I also hate how their voices are dubbed. But for other gaming drama i like crossfire better. For other gaming/romance drama i like Love L20. As for other drama with Xu kai and his cool/cold affections i like arsenal military academy much better. You guys can check these out while waiting for eps. I am going to wait until the drama is over to write a review

Is there much fighting wuxia in this drama?

I think AOL is overrated. Peach blossom i only like yang mi and mark chao skipped all other all other scenes. Untamed takes awhile for me to get into its slow in beginning. Story gets better after 10 eps, two ML Actors are ok. I can see why you dropped them although i did enjoy untamed and Peach blossom.

I have just started this drama am curious on is this a chik flik drama like ashes of love, untamed, ten miles peach blossom? Or is it more wuxia fighting scenes like fight break spheres,handsome siblings? Or a hybrid like the legend, dance of sky empire, fuyao? I was starting to watch it by myself bc i thought its chik flik based on the title but then there are so much fighting scenes in the beginning.. so i end up rewatching it with my husband.. i dont want to disappoint him if it end up being chik flik wuxia though. He doesnt like that stuff too much... He is able to somewhat handle the hybrid ones though
